Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Reese Renfrow Reese Renfrow 5'8" | OH Prosper | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-8 Outside (HS: Prosper/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Lewis University)
Reese is currently ranked as the 105th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Prosper High School and also plays club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. We have covered Miss Renfrow for the past three years and are so impressed with how far she has progressed in her volleyball career. It is not often that smaller outside hitters get recognized for their efforts like their taller counterparts, however Reese can play at the level of anyone. She can do it all on the court and has power for days. I love watching her play the game because she has so much fun doing it with her teammates. She is a beloved teammate and that speaks volumes about her character. As a volleyball player, this young lady is the real deal. Her timing of the ball is perfect and she swings with lots of power to kill the ball on the pins. We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at Lewis University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Kaelynn Sims Kaelynn Sims 6'0" | MB Sachse | 2025 State #88 Nation TX [2025] 6-0 Middle (HS: Sachse/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: University of Nevada at Las Vegas)
Kaelynn is currently ranked as the 29th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Sachse High School and club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. Miss Sims has been ranked at the top of our list ever since we saw her play as a freshman. She has consistently played extremely well at the open level during the club season for the past few years. At the net, she moves so fast and gracefully to patrol and block opposing attackers. Her swift feet allow her to close the block on both pins very easily for her teams. Offensively she is very gifted and rises up off of the ground so quick and effortlessly. I love how effectively she is able to run the slide behind her setter. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Kinzley Brown-Riggins Kinzley Brown-Riggins 6'2" | MB Crowley | 2024 State TX [2024] 6-1 Middle (HS: Crowley/Club: Drive Nation/Verbal: University of Illinois at Chicago)
Kinz is currently ranked as the 70th best overall prospect in the state according to the 2024 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Crowley High School and will play club for the Drive Nation program this coming season. Miss Brown-Riggins is very well known by us at Prep Dig as we have followed her career for the past few years. She has grown into a dominant force in the middle on both the defensive side of the ball and offensively as well. I will take her any day to win a one on one blocking situation at the net. My money will be on her because of how well her vision and timing is when she presses over the net to seal it away. Offensively she is very explosive when she connects on any quick attack. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
