Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Isa Camacho Isa Camacho 5'7" | DS/L Lovejoy | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-7 Libero (HS: Lovejoy/Club: Madfrog /Verbal: University of Texas at Arlington)
Isa is currently ranked as the 76th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Lovejoy High School and also plays club for the Madfrog volleyball program. Miss Camacho has been covered by our company since her freshman year and she has gotten better and better over the years. We have written about her awesome footwork since she has been a standout soccer player since she was a young kid. It has truly helped her become a stud in the libero position. Isa shows a great ability to collapse on hard driven attacks coming from opposing hitters. This keeps the ball on her team’s side of the court so they can run great offense. I also love how she has some great length in her frame compared to others in her position who are a little smaller in height. It helps her extend her defensive range to touch balls that would be outside of the normal range of a smaller player. We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at the University of Texas at Arlington. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Rachel Resta Rachel Resta 5'10" | S Mansfield (Texas) | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-10 Setter (HS: Mansfield/Club: Texas Advantage Volleyball/Verbal: Oral Roberts University)
Rachel is currently ranked as the 117th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Mansfield High School and club for the Texas Advantage Volleyball program. Miss Resta has done nothing but live at the top of the assist leaderboard in the state of Texas for the past few years. As a setter, she has run a setting clinic against everyone that has stood in front of her in her high school career. Equipped with picture perfect form, her location for each set is pinpoint accurate. One aspect that I love about her game is how she utilizes a very powerful left handed setter dump to equalize the opposition. They never expect it out of her and she executes it with perfection at just the right times. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Stephen F. Austin University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
McKinley Chase McKinley Chase 5'5" | S Paschal | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-5 Setter (HS: Paschal/Club: Frisco Flyers/Verbal: UC Riverside)
McKinley is currently ranked as the 150th best overall prospect in the state according to the 2024 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Paschal High School and plays club for the Frisco Flyers volleyball program. I have seen Miss Chase for the past few years and I love her work ethic. It doesn’t matter where she is…this young lady is going to work for what she wants. I have seen her perform practice drills while on vacation!!! This is the kind of hard worker that she will be at the next level for sure. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at University of California at Riverside. Her coaching staff will absolutely love the player that she will be for the next four years in the training room and practice court. The volleyball comes out of her hands so fast and well that she will be loved by all hitters on their squad. Defensively she is able to fly around the court and pick up everything that comes her way in the right back zone. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
