Here are Wahlert players that stood out followed by action photos of the Golden Eagles:
I watched Tschiggfrie compete this spring during the club season. She impressed me then with her well-rounded game. She’s taken a step forward from there this high-school season. She’s a six-rotation performer with a big swing from the outside and excellent reflexes in the back row. She digs out pace and turns it into usable passes. She leads the Eagles in kills and ranks third on the squad in digs.

Roling gives Wahlert another big hitter on the outside. She benefits from excellent leaping ability and power in her swing. She’s consistent with her routine and does well in timing her kill attempts. She’s second to Tschiggfrie in kills among the Eagles.
Another member of Wahlert’s talented junior class, Donovan runs the show from her setter position. I saw her play during the club season, and she continues improving like her teammate, Tschiggfrie. Donovan has dished out 410 assists with 37 kills, 163 digs and 12.0 blocks. Her statistics back up her complete skill set at her position.
Highlights
Alicen Bainbridge
Alicen Bainbridge
Bainbridge is an important piece in the Wahlert puzzle. She presents a presence in the middle of the net that’s capable of pounding down a kill or sending an opponent’s shot back from whence it came. Bainbridge benefits from long arms and excellent timing. She leads the team with 37.0 blocks to go with 103 kills, the third most on the squad.
Kaylee Walter
Kaylee Walter
Walter leads the Eagles with 273 digs. Her ability in the back row helps keep them in system, allowing for utilization of the strong hitters on the team. Walter shows good reflexes and anticipation. She moves well laterally and reacts quickly. She follows the play well as it unfolds and sees the court clearly during the action.
