, that trusts her middles will be there is one that can run a diverse offense. When she can effectively set middle, her 20 foot back set and spin set to the outside lead to more one on one attacks. Stone is a setter that, if with a slew of high flyers, will excel. Specifically, her sets are trending toward a higher tempo set that allows hitters to suspend in the air. Additionally, she uses her shoulders to move the ball around.
Morgan George | 2025 | S | Centennial High School
Morgan George sets a consistent outside set that is about 4-5 feet off the net. Regardless of where the pass goes, outside hitters can expect that same general location. When on defense, she is eager to play the ball first and then go to her setting responsibilities. When serving, she knocks down receivers with a serve that is low to the net. Specifically, those passers must really get low to reach the ball when a serve drops in there. George is also a player that cheers excitedly for her teammates’ successes.

is setting, the ball will be contacted at a fairly high contact point. This enables a follow through of the set where she gives an extended look to account for her delivery. Additionally, she does not allow that ball to settle into her hand too much when setting. Ennis can also be described as an athletic setter highlighted by making plays like facing the net and side setting. She utilizes her athleticism too by being attentive at the net. Specifically, look for her to get the first contact after a block touch.
Nikki Miranda | 5’3″ | 2024 | S | Turlock High School
This season is one that Nikki Miranda is getting much more playing time for the Bulldogs. She is certainly getting every ounce she can out of her senior season. By the numbers, she is scoring nearly an ace per set and has double digits assists in every match except for one. Standing out amongst those performances are two matches with more than 14 assists per set. That production will get many teams on the left side of the W-L category.
Faith Powell | 5’6″ | 2024 | S | Tulare Western High School
Like a jump shot in basketball, Faith Powell holds the follow through of her set. There are a few times where more than her arms and hands follow through. Those times are when she appears to walk toward the direction of the set. Powell is a creative thinker when it comes to a setter tip. Specifically, she moves forward and quickly sets low and backwards against the flow of the play. Like any leader must do at some point in time, she shares all her emotions making herself vulnerable and it seems to gain support behind her.
