Highlights

Maddy Benka
Maddy Benka
Benka made her way onto my radar with a volatile swing out of the backrow. I didn’t even see her coming and before I knew it she had ended the rally. She is a solid communicator and isn’t afraid to call the ball and take it. Benka gets her arms up fast and made some really good defensive touches.
Affeldt runs a 5-1 for Minnehaha and she does a great job of making sure her hitters get plenty of opportunities to attack even if they are out of system. She knows her attackers and where they like the ball. Affeldt also has a great connection with her middles.

Sydney Petersen
Sydney Petersen
Peterson does a great job of transitioning off the net and then approaching hard for the attack whether she knows it’s coming her way or not. She has a nice high contact point and fast swing to gun for the angles and corners.

Grazina Troup
Grazina Troup
Troup found a great rhythm where she just couldn’t be stopped. She took an aggressive approach from the right side, made a nice cut from the outside, and was putting up a consistently tough block.

Elaina Johnson
Elaina Johnson
Johnson was quick laterally and did a great job closing the block from pin to pin. She took an aggressive approach and found high hands to expose when attacking.
