<p>Rood has taken off this season and is currently the team leader in kills. In the five-set loss to Washington, Jill finished with 21 kills and hit .333. The 21 kills are a new career high.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='153929' first='Maya' last='Witherspoon'] – 2025 – Outside – Lafayette</strong></p>

<p>A 3-0 win over Pattonville Maya finished with a career-high 21 kills and hit an unbelievable mark of .6333. The 21 kills tied her career high that she's hit twice before last year in the final four against Liberty North and then her freshman season against Marquette.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='124222' first='Allison' last='Risley'] – 2024 – Outside – Lafayette</strong></p>

<p>In the same match against Pattonville Risley was remarkable as well. She put down 11 kills on 17 attempts to hit .647. Allison and Maya are a tremendous outside duo for the defending Class 5 champions.</p>

<p><strong>Addie Brueckner – 2024 – Outside – Parkway South</strong></p>

<p>Brueckner is the big booming for the Patriots and has almost 100 more kills than anyone else on her team. With a five-set loss to MICDS Addie finished with 17 kills and added three blocks. The 17 kills are a new career-high.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='468287' first='Taryn' last='Jones'] – 2024 – Outside – Whitfield</strong></p>

<p>Taryn is another player that would hit for a career-high in kills putting down 20 in a five-set win over Villa Duchesne. The outside hitter is doing what she can to give her team a fighting chance for a return to the state playoffs this season.</p>
