We will be holding our California Top 250 Expo on November 18th from 6:00-8:00pm at the Mizuno Long Beach training facility. We are going to be previewing some of the players who have already signed up to participate. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed. Without further ado, here are a few players who you should be watching at the Expo.
Reese Stringer Reese Stringer 5'11" | S Mira Costa | 2026 State #35 Nation CA [2026] 5-11 Setter (HS: Mira Costa/Club: Surfside/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Stringer is currently ranked as the 3rd best overall prospect and the top setter in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Mira Costa High School and also for the awesome Surfside volleyball club. Here is a little refresher of what I wrote about her a few months ago when we unveiled the 2026 Rankings, “What is astonishing about Reese is that she is playing against Open Level competition and dominating. Did I mention that she was playing up on an older team while doing it? Well, she is! She is leading one of the top offenses in the nation and spreads the ball around well to all of her attackers. The ball floats out of her hands so smoothly and it is a joy to watch. Her size is one aspect that a lot of schools will love as she is able to be super aggressive while at the net in the front row. There is not a set location that she cannot replicate over and over. Her footwork while tracking down passes/digs puts her in a perfect posture to deliver a hittable ball. This jump setting phenom will make some college coach extremely happy in a few years because of her impeccable technique.” The only thing that has changed is that she has gotten so much better practicing and playing with one of the best high school teams in the entire country. She is playing behind some amazing senior led stars and her time is coming to lead this team to greatness soon. Even thought I have seen her in person quite a few times last club season, I am very intrigued to get to run her through some drills and get a true feel for her athleticism and competitive nature first-hand. If you have a chance, come check her out in person or at the very least on BallerTV since the showcase will be live-streamed. She will for sure be a show-stopper.
Lucky Fasavalu [2027] 5-8 Outside/Setter (HS: Lakewood/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Lucky is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays volleyball at Lakewood High School since she moved from Texas, While in Texas she played for the Austin Skyline club program. Miss Fasavalu can truly do it all on the court. I have been “lucky” enough to have seen her in person a few timesin club tourneys and when she attended one of our showcases. Every court coach was in awe of what we were witnessing. Although she might not be a six-footer, she truly plays above the net like she is. This young lady has mad hops and can bring the heat from the pins like she is a veteran older player. The best part of her game is EVERYTHING! There is not a skill that she cannot perform at a high level. You will see her working on her craft at every skill set there is to do on a volleyball court and that has translated to being a very great volleyball player. Her natural athleticism is highlighted when you watch how fluid she moves on the court with or without the ball. Her approach to attack a volleyball is like watching a symphony perform a beautiful song. It truly is a work of art in itself. The scary part about her is that she is only a freshman and opposing teams will have to match up against her for the next three years. Good luck trying to stop someone who is focused on getting better each day. Stay tuned to see what she does in the showcase.
Abigail Lesagonicz Abigail Lesagonicz 6'3" | RS Rancho Bernardo | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-3 Outside/Middle (HS: Rancho Bernardo/Club: Wave Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Abigail is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but that will soon change as she is on my official watch list. She plays volleyball at Rancho Bernardo High School and club for the famed Wave Volleyball program. I am super intrigued to watch this young lady in person and possibly add her to the rankings when I update them in a few weeks. She has burst onto my radar with authority this past high school season. Why you ask? Because she is not only playing at the varsity level as a sophomore, but she is leading the team in kills and kills per set. She is also second on the team in digs, third in service receptions, and third in hitting percentage. The two-sport stud also shines on the basketball hardwood. The length in her extremities allows her to be a force on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. But when a team runs play-sets for you out of serve receive and free ball plays while you are in the back row…you know you are a focal point of the offense. There is no doubt in my mind that her stock will continue to rise after what we are going to witness at the Expo. Please give her a look and you will not be disappointed in what you see. Stay tuned for more coverage on Abby.
