From refining her skills to building mental strength, she’s proud of her progress and ready to bring that development to the court at the UA Next Volleyball Camp.
Being invited to this camp is a true honor for Abigail. The opportunity to compete alongside some of the top athletes in the country is something she deeply values. She’s excited not only to play at a high level but also to continue learning and pushing herself in a competitive setting.
If she could bring one teammate, it would be Havani Embry. Havani is her club teammate, trusted pepper partner, and one of the best liberos Abigail has ever played with. So far this season, my WAVE 16 Scott team has accomplished quite a bit. We have won 2 out of 3 SCVA tournaments, and in Indianapolis we went 7-1. Unfortunately, we lost in the quarterfinals and did not secure our bid to Nationals. Our team looks much different than last year’s roster. With every practice and tournament, we continue to grow stronger and improve. Our team goal is to focus on one win at a time. My personal goal is to be a dynamic contributor to this team, in hopes of playing volleyball at a good college and continuing my education to one day become an anesthesiologist.
