– 2024 – Outside – Galena
Kaesha is one of the “wow” hitters for Class 1 because they don’t come around often for the tiny schools. She was the only Galena player to have double-digit kills in a match and she finished with 15 in the 3rd place match. Her 30+ inch vertical is very impressive.
Gabriella Meyer – 2026 – Middle – Northwest
The 5’11 middle came out on fire in the first set in the semifinals racking up 7 and finished the match with 15. She would average a double-double with 14 kills and 19 digs during the final four.
Karli Smith – 2024 – Middle – Northwest
Karil would help Northwest to the program best finish with 3rd place and she did it by averaging a double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs in the two matches.
– 2025 – Outside – South Iron
The Panther’s outside hitter was the only player for South Iron to finish with double-digit kills in both the semifinal and finals. She would finish the weekend with 32 kills and 18 digs.
– 2024 – Libero – South Iron
Parker has been one of the top liberos for Class 1 all season. She was a big reason for the semifinal comeback win over Northwest finishing with 21 digs. In the finals, she would add 17 to her Class 1 leading 38 digs.
– 2024 – Outside – South Iron
In the semifinal win over Northwest Dinkins finished with seven kills, 16 assists, and eight digs. In the finals, she added eight kills, 10 assists, and 21 digs averaging a double-double with 13 assists and 14 digs.
Addison Carlton – 2025 – Outside – Advance
The one thing that Advance has over all other Class 1 teams is a team full of kids that could be top liberos anywhere else. Addison is one of the best defensive players on the team. She would finish with 28 digs and 9 kills during the championship weekend.
Abigail Kennedy – 2024 – Opposite – Advance
No other Class 1 team has an opposite like Abigail. She is 5’9” very athletic and loves the fast tempo sets. It was her play in the third set of the finals that helped the Hornets distance themselves from South Iron to win the championship. She had four key kills to seal the win.
– Libero – Advance
One of the most underrated players on the team. Brogan is a fantastic libero for Advance and does all the dirty work without the glory. She had 14 digs in the championship and had 16 in the semifinals.
– 2024 – Middle/Setter – Advance
MVP-Hoffman was special in the final four for the Hornets. The 6’1” middle/setter was almost unstoppable during the weekend. In the semifinals, she would hit .471 with 18 kills and only 2 errors. She also had 14 assists and 10 digs. In the championship against South Iron, she was just as tough hitting .485 with 19 kills, 12 assists, and 6 digs. She was only two digs away from finishing with a triple double as she averaged 18.5 kills, 13 assists, and 8 digs to graduate with her third state championship.
