We have been watching the 2024 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to listed in the rankings due to their individual performances.
Whitney Wallace Whitney Wallace 5'8" | DS/L Saint Francis | 2024 State CA [2024] 5-7 Libero (HS: St. Francis/Club: Vision/Verbal: Oklahoma)
Please officially welcome Miss Wallace to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 47th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at St. Francis High School and for the amazing Vision volleyball club program. Whitney is a fantastic back row floor general who has played at a very high level for the past few years. Recently she committed to paly volleyball at Oklahoma University. With what we have seen from her over the years, we know that she is going to be a great addition to the Sooner program when she steps on campus. I have been able to watch Whit play with her Vision club team in some national events and she has amazed me with her abilities. The two-sport stud also shines for St. Francis on the soccer pitch. There is no doubt in my mind that her soccer skill easily translate to her footwork in the libero position. You can see her fast and balanced footwork in action as she is moving around the court to pass and dig her opponents. We are honored to have her listed in our rankings. Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed amongst the great players of this state.
Mila Mijailovic Mila Mijailovic 5'10" | OH Campbell Hall | 2024 State CA [2024] 5-10 Outside (HS: Campbell Hall/Club: City Volleyball/Verbal: Yale)
Please officially welcome Miss Mijailovic to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 51st best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Campbell Hall High School and for the awesome CITY volleyball club program. Mila is a true six rotation left side attacker who can score in a variety of ways on the court. I have seen her adapt to different paces of sets in the same rally and this shows just how athletic she actually is. One aspect that I really love about her is how she keeps her back arched and shoulders in front of her body while passing during serve receive. She is super consistent while passing and the ball is always on point for her setter to run offense off of it. Her flare out footwork from pass to attack is second to none and a joy for a volleyball purist to watch. The Yale volleyball commit is going to do some major damage at the collegiate level with her ability to turn on the ball in mid-air so fast and absolutely throttle the ball down the line. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
Chloe Albiez Chloe Albiez 5'11" | OH Trinity | 2024 State CA [2024] 5-11 Right Side/Middle (HS: Trinity/Club: North State Volleyball Academy/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Chloe to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 54th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Trinity High School and for the North State Volleyball Academy club program. Miss Albiez is a solid contributor on both the offensive and defense end of the ball. She is a big target out of the middle and garners a lot of attention due to her thunderous attacks. I like how she is able to hit a higher tempo ball out of the middle and paint the corners with power. She really shows a lot of versatility by being able to play on the pins also. This two-sport star also shines on the basketball hardwood for her high school. The tree year varsity starter has accumulated 1101 kills in her career on an astounding .561 hitting percentage. Chloe was one of the kill leaders in the entire state of California and that is a great achievement in such a high-level volleyball state. Her production on offense is the main reason why we have chosen her to be listed amongst the state’s greatest players. Please help us congratulate her on the awesome honor she has earned.
