Dallas Top 250 Showcase – Players to Watch Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are weeks away from our awesome series of showcases across the country.&nbsp; We will be holding our Dallas Top 250 Showcase on November 25^th from 9:00-11:00am at the Southwest Athletic Center. &nbsp;We are going to be previewing some of the players who have already signed up to participate.&nbsp; The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed.&nbsp; Without further ado, here are a few players who you should be watching at the showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Ava Henry [2026] 6-1 Middle (HS: John Paul II/Club: Victory/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ava is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at John Paul II High School and also plays club for Victory volleyball club. Miss Henry is a menacing figure in the middle for any squad she suits up for.&nbsp; I love how strong and athletic she is running quick routes with her setter.&nbsp; She shows a lot of promise hammering the “32” set to the corners for a kill.&nbsp; Her blocking skills are elite and we are going to love to see how she stacks up against some of the best competition at the showcase.&nbsp; From what I see so far in her highlight film, she will be great at one on one drills against other middle competitors.&nbsp; She uses her arms very well to propel herself a little higher while she blocks.&nbsp; What I really love about her play is that she has a high motor and can also hit the high tempo set on the pins if her team needs her to.&nbsp; Stay tuned for more as we watch her showcase her skills in Dallas.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='428509' first='Katelyn' last='Marion']&nbsp;[2025] 6-1 Middle/Right Side (HS: Guyer/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":434549,"width":"116px","height":"auto","sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2023/07/822-Katelyn-Marion.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-434549" style="width:116px;height:auto" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Katelyn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but I am very intrigued to watch her at the showcase.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Guyer High School and club for the nationally recognized [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball program.&nbsp; Miss Marion is a tall blocker and attacker who is listed as a middle, but is also able to play on the right side pin as well.&nbsp; After watching her film, she does a nice job of attacking the ball at the peak of her reach, which will make it difficult for any blocker to time her attack consistently.&nbsp; She possesses enough power to do some damage at the net and provide some much needed firepower to any offense.&nbsp; When she connects, she can bring the heat.&nbsp; I love that she is able to let the ball cross over her body when playing right side and crank the line shot with authority.&nbsp; This is a tough ball to play for the defense and will score at a very high clip for her squad.&nbsp; I am eager to watch her in person and see how she stacks up against the competition.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='318202' first='Layla' last='Austin']&nbsp;[2026] 5-10 Outside (HS: Southlake Carroll/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Layla is currently ranked as the 85^th best overall prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.&nbsp; She plays volleyball at Southlake Carroll High School and club for [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball. &nbsp;This young lady's stock is on a meteoric rise after this high school season has shown us that she is for real.&nbsp; She led her team in quite a few statistical categories as a sophomore on varsity.&nbsp; Her play is a huge reason why the Dragons were 12-0 in district and are currently in the final 16 of the UIL State 6A Playoffs.&nbsp; We have seen her in person at our showcases before and I firmly believe she will steal the show at this event in a few weeks.&nbsp; If you don't know her name by now, I will make sure you do after we cover her body of work.&nbsp; There is not a location on the court that she cannot score from and her back row defense is just as good as her front row attacking.&nbsp; Her cannon of a right arm will be exploding all over the competition and you should definitely be watching in person at the event or on BallerTV as it will streamed.&nbsp; Stay tuned for more on this phenom.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes that will be attending the showcase.&nbsp; If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at <a href="mailto:Michael@prepdig.com">Michael@prepdig.com</a>.&nbsp; Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.&nbsp; Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook.&nbsp; Thanks for following Prep Dig Family!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
