<p>Classes 3, 4, and 5 started us off at the Show-Me Center in Cape and we had some fantastic volleyball. Jump right into the matches played.</p>

<p>Class 3 started us off with defending champions Blair Oaks taking out Pleasant Hill 25-18, 25-16, and 25-15. Blair Oaks was led in its attack on the Chicks by [player_tooltip player_id='150054' first='Bailey' last='Braun'] with 11 kills on a .333%, [player_tooltip player_id='124226' first='Autumn' last='Bax'] finished with eight as well as [player_tooltip player_id='476879' first='Gabby' last='Horn']. Amber Samson carried the defense with her 11 digs and [player_tooltip player_id='234314' first='Libby' last='Juergensmeyer'] dished out 27 assists.</p>

<p>In the other semifinal match Ursuline Academy took on Clever. Ursuline is young and talented something having 5 2026 players on the court. The Bears put Clever away with a 25-20, 25-10, 26-24 win. Ursuline used its serving game to take Clever out of its offense severing 14 aces in the match. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='207581' first='Jillian' last='Raterman'] hit .438 with 15 kills and only 1 error. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='224818' first='Addyson' last='Gresham'] finished six aces, three kills, and eight digs. 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='224817' first='Elizabeth' last='Koenig'] and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490583' first='Lucy' last='Ellsworth']</strong> ran the 6-2 offense combining for 34 assists in the win putting them in the finals against Blair Oaks.</p>

<p>Class 3 third place match Pleasant Hill would hold off Clever getting 13 kills from [player_tooltip player_id='495317' first='Gabriela' last='Hanes'] and 14 from [player_tooltip player_id='168899' first='Abygail' last='Widhalm'] 14 kills and 16 digs. The final score 25-20, 25-21, and 25-20 win for the Chicks as they would finish the season with a 21-10-1 record. Clever had a fantastic season ending 31-7-3 for 4<sup>th</sup> place.</p>

<p>Class 4 had some of the best volleyball on the day as Incarnate Word had to go 4 with St. Michael taking a 25-20, 25-15, 18-25, 25-18 win to move into the championship match for the second year in a row. The Red Knights received 36 kills between [player_tooltip player_id='169895' first='Tara' last='Greenberry'] and [player_tooltip player_id='169896' first='Ellie' last='Witthaus']. The defense was on fire for IWA as the team collected 67 digs in the match with [player_tooltip player_id='235705' first='Abby' last='Freund'] getting 20, [player_tooltip player_id='244664' first='Ally' last='Fuchs'] having eight, and <strong>Ella Von Almen</strong> ending with nine.</p>

<p>The other semifinal was the match of the day as St. Pius X needed 5 to hold off Jefferson City 25-18, 25-27, 25-19, 23-25, 15-12. St. Pius is another young and talented team with bombers all over the court. [player_tooltip player_id='168037' first='Hannah' last='Leftridge'] put down 24 kills [player_tooltip player_id='221230' first='Bennett' last='Raterman'] finished with 20 kills and six blocks, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='475315' first='Anne' last='Makowski'] </strong>added 14 int secure a berth in the title match against Incarnate Word.</p>

<p>Class 4 3<sup>rd</sup> Place went to Jefferson City over St. Michael. 23-25, 25-18, 25-18, 25-19 as opposite <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='477951' first='Maddie' last='Mitchell']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='477954' first='Nola' last='Borgmeyer']</strong> carried the offense. Jefferson City finished the season at 25-10 and St. Michael finished 27-7.</p>

<p>Class 5 was a little more anticlimactic as both semis were in sweeps. A rematch of last year's title match would prove Lafayette is back and on a mission for a repeat of last year as they knocked Kickapoo out 25-19, 25-12, 25-22. The Witherspoon sisters Maya and Shaye finished with 26 total kills.</p>

<p>Francis Howell made it an all-Saint Louis final as they stormed the Titans with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-23 win. [player_tooltip player_id='170047' first='Danielle' last='Moore'] carried the Vikings with 17 kills while [player_tooltip player_id='495274' first='Ella' last='Kloepper'] finished with 14. [player_tooltip player_id='174285' first='Avery' last='Helms'] held the defense down tallying 22 digs. Setters [player_tooltip player_id='153928' first='Morgan' last='Christine Dumm'] and <strong>Mia Wilson</strong> ran the offense to perfection combining for 34 digs to send the Vikings to the championship against Lafayette.</p>
