This past week I have been writing preview reports for the upcoming basketball season and while doing so I came across multiple players I featured in those reports among the leaders in digs in Kansas.
I did not see this group play in person during the 2023 high school season, but I hope to see some of them on club courts or on basketball hardwood.
Here is a look at some of the members of the Class of 2025 who were among the state leaders in digs.
Leslyn Kremeier, 5’5, L/DS, Herington, ‘25
Kremeier is a dual-sport athlete that I just recently featured on Prep Girls Hoops. She finished with 737 digs in 80 sets played during her junior season. She has already reached the 2,000-career dig mark in three seasons. She is also one of the top returning scores among Class 3A basketball players in Kansas.
Chloe Traffas Chloe Traffas 5'4" | DS/L Attica | 2025 State KS , 5’13”, L, Attica, ‘25
Traffas plays for small school Attica, but the Bulldog libero is a big-time talent. She is a defensive whiz with a hard and accurate serve. During her junior season, she finished with 563 digs and 523 serve receptions. She registered 78 aces in 91 sets played which increases her value as a college prospect.
Anna Juenenam, 5’6”, L/DS, Hanover, ‘25
Hanover’s Juenenam is another two-sport prospect I also featured on PGH. She is one of the top returning scorers among basketball players in IA DII schools. On the volleyball court, she finished her junior season with 510 digs, 304 serve receptions, and 277 kills.
Lexie Mallatt, 5’4”, L/OH, Riverton, ‘25
Mallatt is a sneaky good athlete for the Rams. She plays solid defense racking up 447 digs in 94 sets played. She also can jump and added 53 kills to her stat line. Mallatt has a nice serve and she recorded 55 assists during her junior season.
Claire Baker Claire Baker 5'6" | DS/L Baldwin | 2025 State KS , 5’6”, L, Baldwin, ‘25
Baker was a key factor in Baldwin’s successful season. She has quick feet and collected 445 digs during her junior campaign. Baker also recorded 610 serve receptions and collected 41 aces.
Dalanie Meek Dalanie Meek 5'9" | OH St. Mary's-Colgan | 2025 State KS , 5’9”, OH/DS, St. Mary’s Colgan, ‘25
In 106 sets played Meek racked up 444 digs. She helped guide the Panthers to the Class 2A state tournament. She collected 340 serve receptions and 197 kills.
KcAnna Keiswetter, 5’2”, DS/L, Norton, ‘25
Keiswetter finished her junior season with 414 digs for the Norton Bluejays. She also finished with 415 serve receptions while only making 31 receiving errors.
Jenica Hubbard Jenica Hubbard 5'5" | DS/L Marysville | 2025 State KS , 5’5”, L, Marysville, ‘25
Hubbard has a nice highlight package on Hudl. As a junior, she finished with 385 digs and 474 serve receptions in 86 sets played for the Bulldogs.
