I delved into the role of social media in Dakota’s volleyball journey, and she shared that it has been a game-changer. Additionally, social media has served as a powerful tool for exposure, crucial in navigating her recruiting journey. Dakota’s journey is not just about skills on the court; it’s also about leveraging the digital landscape to showcase her dedication and talent to a wider audience.

When I asked Audie about the influence of social media on her volleyball journey, she shared, “Being able to see high-level athletes on social media every day inspires me as well as having easy access to short training videos to improve my volleyball skills.” Audie’s journey is not just about playing the game; it’s about leveraging social media to elevate her skills and draw inspiration from the best on the court.

Known for her quick hits and dynamic arm swing, Jordan’s prowess has caught the attention of coaches from club teams, school teams, and college volleyball camps. One of her strengths lies in seamless adjustments to sets when attacking, showcasing her adaptability on the court.
Not just limited to offense, Jordan excels in serve receive, demonstrating a keen ability to control floating balls and discerning the trajectory of incoming serves. She actively works on enhancing her skills in back row defense and serve receive, reading the game to predict where the ball will land. When I asked Jordan about her growth, she emphasized her belief in continuous improvement, expressing her openness to seeking advice and guidance throughout her volleyball career.
Utilizing social media as a valuable resource, Jordan watches professionals in both beach and indoor volleyball, extracting valuable tips and tricks from their gameplay. Following volleyball tip accounts has proven beneficial, as she applies the insights shared in videos to master specific skills. Excitingly, Jordan is set to join Lava Beach Volleyball’s club beach volleyball team, led by Coach Dave Callis—a familiar face in her volleyball journey for over a few years. Under Coach Dave’s guidance, Jordan’s love for beach volleyball has flourished, marking an exciting chapter in her evolving career.

Curious about her athletic persona, I asked Kennedy to define it, and she described herself as competitive, hardworking, energetic, and fun—a dynamic combination that undoubtedly contributes to her success on the volleyball court.
In preparation for club play, Kennedy is putting in the work, practicing three days a week and incorporating strength training whenever possible to fortify her physique and minimize the risk of injuries. It’s clear that Kennedy’s commitment to both skill refinement and physical conditioning is propelling her toward success in her volleyball journey.
