Top 250 Expo Dallas: Freshmen Hitters Vol. 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are so many amazing hitters in the freshman class that I had to break this into two parts to cover all of them. This is probably the biggest freshman class I have covered with this many hitters. Let's look at them individually and see what makes them each unique and special.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='484395' first='Kate' last='Cuppett']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cuppett is a 5'9" outside hitter from Rockwall High School. Cuppett is great at digging up balls on the court, she has a great platform, and she uses it effectively. She has laser focus on the court, no distractions with this athlete. When she hits she has excellent placement of the ball on her opponent's court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='484396' first='Kherynton' last='Chinnis']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Chnnis is a 5'11" middle hitter from Liberty Christian High School. Chinnis is a great blocker who puts down hard and smart hits. She has a good platform and is quick to the ground when needed. She has excellent footwork on serve/receive and is a fast, strong, and smart athlete. Herron is a beast. She has a block like a concrete wall. When she hits you with a ball you are going to know it too. She is really strong and athletic and she hits like a freight train. It was fun to watch her play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='752750' first='Averie' last='Mannschreck']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mannschreck is a 5'9" outside hitter from The Academy of Classical Christian Studies. Mannschreck's moves look effortless on the court. She seems to fly around and make the ball into a corner without much effort. We all know that is not the case, it takes years of work to make it look so easy. She is an impressive athlete with quick reflexes and she is very quick. She also has very smart placement of the ball when she is trying to score.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='484374' first='Anna' last='McPherson']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>McPherson is a 5'10" outside hitter from Gatesville High School. McPherson is always ready to go. Whether digging, hitting, blocking or serving she is always on the move and using her time on the court well. She is athletic and strong and would be a good addition to any team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='430133' first='Natalie' last='Norton']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Norton is a 6'3" outside hitter from Pantego Christian Academy. Norton is very long and lean. She has great hops and uses smart, well-placed hits to win the day. She is a great blocker and seems aware of the other side of the court all the time, which is what helps her achieve her points on the court. She always seemed encouraging with herself and her teammates at the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
