Sometimes at Hermann, you have to wait a couple of years before you can shine and that is the case for Sydney. In her first season as a regular, she helped the Bearcats take 2nd place at State with her 369 kills. She's a solid passer and defender finishing with 256 digs. The Bearcats will be back again next season with Sydney leading the way.

Abby Bowers – 5'10” – Thayer

Bowers was key in the Bobcats having the best season in school history. Abby led the team in both kills and digs with 413 and 311 respectively. She's still raw but a strong athlete who can rip it. Can she get Thayer back to the district championship? She has all the skills to guide Thayer to its first district championship in school history.

[player_tooltip player_id='493032' first='Megan' last='Wood'] – 5'9” – Jefferson

Megan was stuck behind a class of outstanding volleyball players, and this was her year to standout and did she. What a nice outside to have to help replace what the program lost after winning a state title the previous year. Megan has some strong attacking skills on the left pin and finished with 343 kills and 299 digs. Another year of experience and Megan will come back even better.

[player_tooltip player_id='195382' first='Neely' last='Schaaf'] – 5'9” – El Dorado Springs

Must run in the family to be multi-sports start for the Bulldogs. Neely plays double duty for ELDO hitting and helping run the offense. A three-year starter she finished with 286 kills, 335 digs, and 426 assists. If she chooses to play volleyball in college over basketball she could turn into a fantastic libero.

Whitfield made the playoffs again this season and a huge part was the return of Clare who missed most of the season but came back right in time for the playoffs. A great setter who has the height and volleyball IQ to run an offense or the capabilities to smash on the left pin. In half a season she would finish with 228 kills and 204 assists.
