If Ashley doesn’t leave the Dragons as the school’s best volleyball player in school history, I’ll be shocked. She is a hammer on the left pin, plays fantastic defense, and passes like a libero. A next-level athlete is a given. She can spank the ball and finished the season with 253 kills, and 231 digs, and is one of the primary passers.
Malia Stolte Malia Stolte 5'7" | S Hannibal | 2026 State MO – 5’6” – Hannibal
Malia plays double duty for the Pirates as she sets and hits the opposite. She’s a little short for an opposite but with her vertical and powerful arm swing she’s a smart and deadly right-pin hitter. The stat stuffer finished with 246 kills, 212 digs, and 384 assists.
Summer Zelei – 5’10” – Holt
With the ability to hit from anywhere on the net Summer makes herself beneficial by her versatility. She is tall and hits on either pin with a wide variety of shots. Summer led her team in kills with 214, 3rd in digs with 130, and was one of the two top passers on the team.
Georgia Hite Georgia Hite 6'0" | OH John Burroughs | 2026 State MO – 5’11” – Burroughs
One of my favorite Class 4 outsides I got to see four times this year. She’s a tall 5’11 because of her wingspan. Plays great defense and passes on point. Her vertical and arm swing makes her a dangerous attack for the Bombers. Had a season-high 31 kills in a 4-set win over Clayton.
Hannah Jennings – 5’8” – Parkway West
Another player I was able to catch a couple of times this season. I wasn’t sure how Parkway West would be this year after the graduation losses, but the program is built to last. Jennings was a big contributor putting down 204 kills this season and once again made the Longhorns be in conversations for final four runs. They’ll be better next season so keep an eye out for Hannah and the other Longhorns.
