Witherspoon is an extremely talented player with a family legacy at Lafayette. Shaye was a big part of why the Lancers won another state title this year. She would lead all of the Class 5 2027s with 252 kills and 90 blocks. She is gifted with height, and athletic ability and will go down as the best Witherspoon to play at Lafayette.

[player_tooltip player_id='485573' first='Camryn' last='Minatee'] – 5'9” – Outside – North Kansas City

Boy is Camryn going to be a dynamite player for the Hornets. A high-flying hitting outside attacker who possesses a tremendous amount of ball control for a freshman. She can put the ball where she wants it. Led her team in kills with 249, 2nd in digs with 292, and was the top passer on the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='485610' first='Riley' last='Martin'] – 5'8” – Outside – North Kansas City

The Hornets are stacked with talented youth and Martin is another newbie that made monster contributions. Riley finished with 167 kills placing her 4th in Class 5 for 2027 attackers. She is a quick and highflyer like her teammate and hits a nasty line shot. Keep an eye on the Hornets over the next few seasons as they have one of the best freshmen left-pin hitter duos in the state regardless of classification.

[player_tooltip player_id='485586' first='Evelyn' last='Haarmann'] – 5'11” – Outside – Oakville

The Tigers are always in the mix as a top team in Saint Louis and with Evelyn the trend will continue. She is tall and long outside with a whip of an arm. She racked up 219 kills, and 110 digs and was one of the primary passers for the Tigers.

Addie Wright – 5'7” – Outside – Kirkwood

She might be undersized on the left pin for Class 5, but she makes up for it with her high volleyball IQ. She is a bouncy player who sees the block extremely well and can use it or simply go around the block. She has a knack for hitting the line shot on the left pin or when attacking out of the middle loves the right back. Addie finished the season with 140 kills, and 162 digs and was the top passer for the Pioneers.
