The 2023 Michigan Top 250 Expo is set to take place this Saturday in Pontiac.

These events always bring in a lot of talented prospects and this Saturday's edition will be no different.

Over 60 different high schools will be represented at this week's event, a good balance throughout the state.

Here's a look at the schools bringing the most prospects to Pontiac on Saturday.

Orchard Lake St. Mary's

The Eaglets program is coming off a great prep year, collecting its first district championship in Division 2. On Saturday, OLSM has five different players attending the Expo. Including in the group is 2026's [player_tooltip player_id='487079' first='Jillian' last='Gibbs'] and 2027's [player_tooltip player_id='487784' first='Jillian' last='Jackson'], [player_tooltip player_id='486863' first='Lindsey' last='Schwegman'], [player_tooltip player_id='470701' first='Zoey' last='Kapeller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='470031' first='Avery' last='Kapeller']. Gibbs was Honorable Mention All-State for OLSM this fall as a sophomore middle hitter. She had a lot of dominant stretches at the net this fall, using her size to put down highlight-reel kills and blocks. Avery Kapellar saw a lot of time in the rotation as well. She grew to be a reliable outside options for the Eaglets and has a bright future. Schwegman contributed with her defensive play and serving for stretches of the season as well and has a lot of advanced skills.

Saline

The Hornets were another top team in the Division 1 picture this year and they will have four representatives at the Michigan Top 250 Expo on Saturday. Included in that group is 2026's [player_tooltip player_id='261135' first='Clare' last='Beazley'], [player_tooltip player_id='445679' first='Taylor' last='Dahms'] and [player_tooltip player_id='442628' first='Elizabeth' last='White'], as well as 2027's [player_tooltip player_id='454363' first='Akylah' last='Marshall']. Both Dahms and Beazley were both part of the Saline varsity roster this fall and contributed at the net during key stretches. Each was able to improve on their swing and finishing rate later in the season. Both also showed a lot of good instincts with their blocking and should be shining members during this expo.

Cass Tech

Cass Tech has regularly been part of Prep Dig Events and this time around is no different with three members taking part. This year's group is 2025's Amia Coates and Jonae Swift, and 2026's [player_tooltip player_id='261181' first='Laurin' last='Edwards']. Swift has been at a number of our events and has really applied what she's learned to her game each time. Swift is coming off a solid fall where she really was an impact player for Cass Tech. She's grown into a well-balanced player that has a real strength in her serve. Edwards has also been at recent events and showed a lot of explosiveness at the net and the ability to put the ball away consistently.

Marian

Marian is another program that has cycled in a lot of prospects through our events and the Mustangs are definitely no stranger to young talent in the program. For this year's event, Marian has three players taking part. They are 2026's [player_tooltip player_id='226885' first='Allie' last='Davison'], Madeleine Koch and [player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti']. Davison is coming off a great 2023 season for the Mustangs. She was an All-Region setter in Division 1 and had over 1,300 assists in her first season as the starting setter. Davison was also one of the top setters in the Detroit area with 86 this fall. Of the hitters Davison worked with and helped develop, one was Zayti, who was a leading middle for Marian. She came through with some top matches late in the season and showed a promising future. She also turned into a dominant blocker for Marian. Koch saw some limited varsity action as well this year and is going to be another defensive standout for the program.

Milford

The Mavericks will be bringing in three prospects to this weekend's expo. In that trip is 2026's Amilia Ashcroft and 2027's [player_tooltip player_id='442989' first='Kyler' last='Madison'] and [player_tooltip player_id='454368' first='Lexa' last='Pierson']. All three players contributed to the Milford varsity team this fall. Pierson was among the leading hitters on the squad. She showed a lot of explosiveness at the net and has a passing game that shows a lot of promise. Madison and Ashcroft were defensive specialists and contributed at the service line. They were second and third on the team in digs, respectively. They each show a lot of good instincts in the back row.

Novi

Novi also has three prospects taking the court on Saturday. That includes 2026's Alexandra Leggett and [player_tooltip player_id='226937' first='Mallory' last='Stoy'], along with 2027's Nellie Alves. Stoy did see a lot of time with the Wildcats' varsity team during the fall. She took on a DS role and was one of the team's dig leaders. Alves also was in the mix a lot this fall as a setter while also providing a nice boost from the service line. Alves wasn't shy to be aggressive with her decisions and showed a lot of ability to finish points on her own.

Romeo

The Bulldogs also have three prospects taking part in the expo. That includes 2026's Emma Rosenow and [player_tooltip player_id='489427' first='Victoria' last='Weingartz'], as well 2027's Christina Rosenow. All three were contributors to the Romeo varsity squad this fall. Emma Rosenow played outside and she's been someone the Bulldogs have been able to count on over her first two years in the program. She grew a lot as a defender this fall. Weingartz also had a lot of defensive contributions for Romeo this fall. Like Rosenow, Weingartz is an active player that shows a lot of desire to improve and takes well to coaching. Christina Rosenow is a promising middle that came through with some timely kills for the Bulldogs. Her blocking was really advanced for a freshman and something that could help set her apart from some of her peers.
