Elaina was a stud defender, especially out of middle back. Her court awareness and huge hustle made her a frustrating player for opposing offenses. She never gave up on a play and was relentless in defense. Her serve receive was consistent and clean, and her defense was scrappy and explosive.
Highlights
Kaitlynn has great fundamentals and plays a very clean defensive game. She reads very well and is not afraid to get in front of some of the most powerful swings. Kaitlynn had numerous impressive digs and plays throughout the Expo and caught my eye several times.

Siena is a very experienced libero, and it showed at the Expo. She has a clean platform and impeccable ball control. Her serve receive is confident and simple. She does not have a lot of unnecessary movement which makes her efficient and effective. Siena is an incredibly talented athlete and is one of the top defenders in this class.
Maddie is a player on the rise in this class. Her court awareness and volleyball IQ are impressive. Maddie has a clean touch on the ball that looks effortless. Her ability to keep balls alive in coverage and scramble plays was so fun to watch and made her one of the most impactful defenders at the Expo.

Nothing drops when Emy Miller Emy Miller 5’7″ | DS/L West Bend West | 2026 State WI is in the backcourt. She can defend from corner to corner and gets great, playable touches on even the toughest swings. She gets her feet stopped and consistently keeps balls in system while also providing high-level coverage.

Cassidy is quick and efficient in her movement on the court. She transitioned from defense to coverage seamlessly and was always stopped and ready for her next play. She also hopped in and played some right side, getting some great touches on the block and terminating at the net.

Kendall’s serve receive really set her apart. She had clean, simple, and effective contacts on the ball. Kendall gets her feet set and holds her platform, which is a huge asset in defense and service reception. She was a consistent force in the back row and excelled in 6v6 game-play.

Kayla was a stand-out player in serve receive. Her simple and quick movement and clean ball control set her up for success. She is also a talented defender and can play across the backcourt. Kayla is disciplined yet gritty and works hard on every single play.

Zoe has amazing court awareness and a high volleyball IQ. She stood out from her very first touch of the Expo. Her reaction time and ability to put up consistently playable balls on even the toughest swings made her a huge asset to whatever team she was playing on.
Emily is quick and has clean form. She is not afraid to be aggressive and is fearless and relentless as a defender. Her defensive range takes up a lot of space on the court and she is equally as impactful in serve receive and coverage.
Amorina is incredibly athletic and has great court awareness. She was the force behind some great plays and was great at keeping athletic plays in system for her teammates. She stood out for her consistent yet high-level play in the back row.
Olivia was all over the court. Nothing could be considered down when she was playing. She picked up some incredible tips and block touches. Olivia also found ways to bring control to scramble plays. She was a stand-out player and one of the top defenders at the expo.
Addison is the type of athlete that does the little things right. She has a great platform and consistent touch on the ball. She is also an energizer on the court, both with her positive attitude and momentum-changing plays. She caught my eye numerous times, making stud plays.

Helena was a key defender at the Top 250 Expo. She stood out right from the start and was a confident presence in every drill. Helena had some of the best court awareness at the event and got great touches as a result. She never missed a beat and seemed to be everywhere at once, making big plays.
