Katie stood out to me because of her quick movement and clean platform. She anticipated the ball well and reacted quickly on serve receive and defense. Katie consistently had great touches on the ball.

Kailyn is very athletic and has awesome court awareness. She moves the ball around well and is talented in every aspect of the game. She has clean hands and makes smart choices. She made some great connections with players at the Expo, which can be really tough to do.

The first thing I noticed about Elyse was her near-perfect platform and angles. She sets herself up for success by reacting quickly to the ball and having a consistent platform. She caught my eye several times throughout the event and is a player to watch.

Paige’s shot selection showed what a savvy player she is. She is disciplined in transition and utilizes every set she is given. Her high contact gives her the ability to swing over and through opposing blockers.
Highlights
Lauren absolutely exploded onto my radar at the Expo. She was all over the place and made some great heads-up plays in coverage. She read opposing hitters well and kept some tough balls in-system for her teammates.
Sidney is listed as a DS/L but set at the Top 250 Expo. She was sneaky and always seemed one step ahead of her opponents. She had a tip that no one, including myself, ever saw coming. Sidney is strategic in her play but works well in scramble plays as well.
Ella’s huge hustle and relentless pursuit of the ball initially caught my eye. When I watched her more, I realized that she balances good ball control on serve receive and the explosive nature of defense very well. Ella also takes a competitive back row swing and was regularly an option for her setters.

Anna was another player who really exploded onto my radar at the Expo. She has a high contact and fast arm swing. What I liked about her play was that she was always mixing up her shots and placement of the ball. Her athleticism helped her make great heads-up plays at the net.
Sydney never missed a beat on the court. From solid defensive plays to scrappy touches in coverage, she had great ball control and was a leader in the backcourt. She did a great job working to keep balls in-system and putting up great passes for her team.
Highlights
Sophia played well on both pins, but I particularly liked her impact on the right side at the Expo. She found great angles around the block and seams between defenders. She is a versatile pin who is a great utility player.
Stella plays a clean game of volleyball. She keeps it simple, nothing flashy, and consistently delivers for her hitters. Her placement is impeccable, and she brings structure to chaotic plays. I liked her style of play and how well she moved the ball around.
