Brookelyn Hatton Brookelyn Hatton 5'4" | DS/L Blue Valley West | 2025 State KS – L – Blue Valley West/Mavs – 18>10
We discussed Hatton briefly in our article highlighting our top 10. There is nothing much to add here except that we spent some discussing her high school season, she is just as productive on the club scene and will headline the back row for a strong Mavs 17-1 team.
Kendal Brueggen Kendal Brueggen 5'10" | OH Hesston | 2025 State KS – OH – Hesston/Air Capital – 33>18
Bruggen may not be known by many not being in the Kansas City/Wichita club hotbed but is a player who if was in these regions would be known by all. She had 570 kills in her junior season for Hesston. She is extremely athletic and can take over matches quickly. She’s pretty nice on the basketball court, too.
Katja Blanchat Katja Blanchat 6'0" | MB Smoky Valley | 2025 State KS – MB – Smoke Valley/Kansas Networks – 34>22
Blanchat collected numerous postseason awards after her strong junior season. Her performance allowed her to jump 12 spots in our most recent rankings after helping Smoke Valley get back to the state tournament. She had just under 400 kills on the year and over 100 blocks.
Addison Budke Addison Budke 6'0" | OH Beloit | 2025 State KS – OH – Beloit/Mamba – 41>26
Beloit returned to the state tournament this fall and Budke’s play was crucial in making this happen. The outside hitter slid up 15 spots to 26. At 6’1″, she does things well on attack and with her defense. She tallied 553 kills to get her career total to 1771.
Kaylee Hampton Kaylee Hampton 5'9" | RS Clearwater | 2025 State KS – S/RS – Clearwater/Air Capital – 64>31
We added Hampton to this list though she sits just outside the top 30, but with a jump to 31 from 64, you have to give some love. From the setter position, she dished out 893 assists in her junior campaign, along with 167 digs. She also proved she can be a threat offensively with 112 kills and 65 aces behind the service line.
