Here’s our first part of the 2025 Player Evaluations.
Kylie Anderson Kylie Anderson 5'8" | S Mattawan | 2025 State MI , S Mattawan/FaR Out
Anderson looked smooth and steady during the expo. She’s technically sound with her sets and gets the ball in an accurate spot for her hitters. She also showed a lot of good defensive instincts while putting on a nice serve as well.
Micaiah Bottom, OH Skyline/L2
Bottom was a hitter that could really hang in the air and wait for the ball to take her swing at the right moment. That led to a lot of thunderous swings throughout the expo. Bottom did a good job of taking what she got from setters and trying to make the most of each opportunity.
Amia Coates, MH Cass Tech/Fairplay
Coates definitely has a foundation to be a solid player as she continues to add dimensions to her game. She’s got the athleticism to be a disruptive player offensively and defensively. She just needs to find a little more consistency. When she’s playing with confidence, Coates does a lot of good things.
Bella Colon Bella Colon 5'9" | OH Troy | 2025 State MI , OH Troy/L2
Colon was one of our Gamechangers from the event, as she consistently brought the biggest swings throughout the expo. Colon exploded off the floor and had an aggressive swing. She wasn’t afraid to go for the big play and make something happen.
Makayla Credit Makayla Credit 5'8" | OH South Lyon East | 2025 State MI , OH South Lyon East/L2
Credit was a another big hitter throughout the expo. She has tremendous hang time as well and had a quick and aggressive swing that led to a lot of velocity on her attacks. She showed a lot of quickness on the court defensively as well.
Elizabeth Dobbs, OH Troy/Legacy
Dobbs is a good energy player that is able to succeed on the floor because of how active she stays. She likes to battle at the net for the 50-50 balls and then uses good decision-making when taking her swings at the net. Her attack placement was strong in most cases.
Liz Grajewski Liz Grajewski 5'8" | OH North Farmington | 2025 State MI , MH North Farmington/High Performance
Grajewski is listed at just 5’7”, but she could bring a lot of thunder in the middle. She really gelled well with the setters and had her timing with them down quickly. Grajewski could finish from the middle or the pins and had a solid attack angle on many swings.
Julia Gramlich Julia Gramlich 6'2" | S Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central | 2025 MI , S SMCC/Athlete HQ
Gramlich is 6’2” and that certainly is valuable size for the position. She can make things very difficult for defenders and blockers. Gramlich can still improve on her footwork, but she’s eager to improve and showed that improvement throughout the expo. She’s an underrated defender as well.
Addison Hendricks, MH East Jackson/Flight
Hendricks plays longer than her 5’11” frame might suggest. She also covers a lot of space at the net and defensively, so she can be a real difference-maker when she’s on her game. I liked her decision making during pressure spots, as she made sure avoid errors.
