With close to 40 prospects on display, there were a lot of good players to evaluate.
Here’s the third part of our 2026 player evaluations.
Reagan Lesley Reagan Lesley 5'10" | MB Chippewa Valley | 2026 State MI , OH Chippewa Valley/Michigan Elite
Lesley has the ability to play anywhere at the net, but her all-around skills are suiting her to the outside. Lesley had a great motor and kept coming strong to the net with her variety of shots. She proved she’s got the arm power to hang with anyone, but then mixed in a lot of high-IQ plays when the power shot wasn’t the best option.
Lucy Monahan Lucy Monahan 6'1" | MB Bedford Senior | 2026 State MI , MH Bedford/L2
Monahan is a 6’1” middle that was getting to work with one of the top middles in the state this fall and that should help her going forward. You can see she’s hungry to see some high-paced action and showcase her talents. She’s quick to react with her blocking and transitions well to the offensive mindset, where she can put down a violent attack.
Ellie Panczyszyn, S St. Ursula Academy/Toledo VC
One of the prospects that came from out of state was this Toledo Volleyball Club prospect. Panczszyn may be a mouthful to say, but Ellie definitely is smooth in her play. The ball got a nice pop off her sets and gave her hitters a chance to shine. She pushed herself to make some challenging plays while scrambling and didn’t just play it safe at all times.
Sydney Pecor, MH City High/FaR Out
Pecor battled hard in the middle with some impressive middles at this expo. She had some consistency issues at times, but was able to shake things off quickly and come through with a solid swing soon after. I like the power she can generate and she shows good footwork to get herself into position to deliver a power shot.
Riley Pilat Riley Pilat 5'11" | OH Plymouth Christian | 2026 State MI , OH Plymouth Christian/Michigan Elite
Pilat has established herself on the prep and club scene already, but she continues to add to her game by shifting to the outside. Pilat is able to attack anywhere on the floor and place the ball in very tight windows. She can be aggressive to the boundaries and also make a well-place lob in the front. When Pilat dials up her fastball, it can be best to just stay out of the way.
Dakota Rae Robinson Dakota Rae Robinson 5'2" | DS/L Mercy | 2026 MI , DS/L Mercy
Robinson is a little Mighty Mouse on the floor as the 5’2” defender can get lost behind some of her giant hitters, but rest assured she’s in position and ready to make a play. Her quick feet and active eyes allow her to get in position to make a tough play and Robinson is able to stay low to the ground to better adjust to the attacks that come her way.
Emma Rosenow Emma Rosenow 5'11" | MB Romeo | 2026 State MI , OH Romeo/Monsters
Rosenow is a well-rounded prospect that has really improved defensively. She’s got a nose for the ball and where the play is heading. Her passing and serve receive make her a great six-rotation option, as she can quickly shift into attack mode and place a good shot. Rosenow mixes up speeds and angles well in her shot selection and plays a smart game.
Allison Rutledge Allison Rutledge 6'0" | S Lapeer | 2026 State MI , S Lapeer/Five:1
Rutledge is a 6-foot setter, which is a great asset for any team to have. But, her size isn’t all she’s bringing to the table. Rutledge stays light on her feet and has a good feel for where to get the ball to finish points. She can put a nice arc on her set, while also making quick connections with her middles. With her length, Rutledge is also always a threat to attack, herself.
Kailyn Schlepp Kailyn Schlepp 5'7" | DS/L Spring Lake | 2026 State MI , DS/L Spring Lake/MVA
Schlepp was definitely a hustle player that stood out during the expo. She’s constantly willing to throw her body to the floor to make a play and quickly sprawl up to stay in the mix. Her effort and dedication allow her to make great passes when making tough digs. Schlepp also has a solid serve that was really challenging to handle.
