We are a day away from the Prep Dig 250 with athletes joining from across the Midwest. We hope to touch every player making the trek and there are some we heard about this high school season we are excited to see in person. Here is a light preview of some of the middles and defenders who will be in attendance.

Mary Cate Dunn - 2026 - DS/L - Bishop Miege/[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']

Dunn is a player who held down the libero jersey for her Mavs team a year ago. On film, she is confident in the passing game and consistent to spot with the pass. You can tell she is vocal and active in the back row and does a good job of taking control when necessary.

[player_tooltip player_id='446310' first='Chloe' last='Cone'] - 2025 - DS/L - Kearney/Northland Static

Cone had a successful playing career to date formerly with Club North and took her game to Northland Static this season. She wears many hats but with her size, I will be keeping an eye on her play along the back row defensively and with passing.

[player_tooltip player_id='484824' first='Khylie' last='Remmenga'] - 2026 -MB - Knob Noster/[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']

After a phenomenal sophomore season, I look forward to seeing Remmenga in person. Her play looks effortless on film as she gets off the ground quickly when attacking. She totaled over 300 kills this fall and should be a player who stands out amongst the crowd this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='487567' first='Khloe' last='Heberle'] - 2027 - DS/L - St. Dominic/[program_tooltip program_id='428799' first='Rockwood' last='Thunder']

Heberle put on a show last summer from the libero position at AAU Club Nationals and I look forward to seeing her live this weekend. She is a high-energy player with a quick first step and loves some pancakes.

Bailey Boeve - 2026 - MB -Hinton Community School/Midwest Volleyball [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']

Boeve will make the trip south from Iowa/South Dakota for the showcase to exhibit her play in the middle. She is a player who in clips has a high IQ and picks her attacks accordingly.

[player_tooltip player_id='446322' first='Molly' last='Schuler'] - 2027 - MB - Washburn Rural/Topeka Saints

Schuler is a player who stood out at the freshman showcase this summer. After a season of high school ball under her belt, we look forward to seeing her growth this weekend at the net. The things we anticipate seeing are strength at the net and confidence in shot selections.

Shaylee Howard - 2026 - MB - Bentonville/Ozark Juniors

Howard has great upside from what I've seen at a distance via film in Arkansas. She played quite a bit of junior varsity ball while clocking some valuable experience in minimal sets at the varsity level. At 6'0", she has a good length in the front row. She had 114 kills and 41 blocks total between the two teams.

Ainsley Aten - 2027 - DS/L - Spring Hill/[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']

Aten is a player who does many things well and plays for a strong [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 15 squad this year. One of the things I'll be looking for her is leadership along the back row, being vocal, and taking control of all balls she can get to.

[player_tooltip player_id='446321' first='Madison' last='Maximuk'] - 2027 - MB - Blue Valley/[program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last='']

Another young player on that [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] team to check out will be Maximuk. The thing live I look forward to seeing is her lateral movement at the net and hitting behind the setter. She is already solid in front and quick off the ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='446320' first='Madeline' last='Etler'] - 2027 - MB - St. James/[program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='[program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last='']']

Etler was the only freshman to see playing time on an experienced St. James team this year. She had a solid club season last year and it will be interesting to see her hopefully across the net from some of the other good middles this weekend. The 6'0" middle had 34 kills in 42 sets.

[player_tooltip player_id='261291' first='Emily' last='Blowers'] - 2026 - DS/L - Park Hill South/Optimum

Blowers played on the junior varsity squad this fall for Park Hill South. She is a steady defender who will play for a newer club on the scene, Optimum this club season. She made an impression at the last showcase and we are looking to see how much her game has developed in a year.
