The final set of our January Prospect Roulette goes to the 2027 prospects.

Here's how it works: I'll pop up a random number generator that includes the 20 players in the 2027 rankings. I'll generate four numbers and the four that come up will be the ranking of the player. I'll then spotlight those players in the article to help give them some more attention. I will then take five random numbers from the nearly 70 Watch List prospects. Their number is where they are alphabetically in the Watch List.

Let's see who has the lucky numbers for this month's edition:

10. [player_tooltip player_id='493481' first='Camille' last='Robinson'], MH Harper Creek

Robinson was a big asset to a Harper Creek team was relatively young. She was among the team leaders in both kills and blocks and showcased having a very high ceiling for her future. Robinson was able to play everywhere along the net and is much more than a middle. She improved a lot on her finishing rate, as she explodes off the floor and is finding her groove with her swing.

16. [player_tooltip player_id='490381' first='Caylin' last='Lindsay'], OH Hartland/Michigan Elite

Lindsay came through as an unsung hero in Hartland's breakout season. The freshman got better and better as the season progressed, thus earning more opportunities. She was eager to compete against the best hitters and showcase her own array of offensive ability. Linday can climb the ladder well and has been working to sharpen her defensive ability to become a six-rotation option.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='442982' first='Grace' last='Goodyke'], OH GR Christian/FaR Out

Goodyke was certainly among the most productive freshmen in the state last season and she powered GRC to the D2 semifinals in a talent-heavy Grand Rapids area. Goodyke has a natural feel for the game on offense and mixes up her shot speeds and angles very well. The 6-footer already has an elite offensive game. As she adds to her defensive repertoire, she could be an unstoppable player.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='462086' first='Mallory' last='Woiteshek'], OH Grand Haven/MVA

The 6'3” Woiteshek had some buzz coming into the 2023 prep season, but she far surpassed expectations. By the end of the prep year she was proving to be one of the most dominant finishers you could find. She combines her length and wingspan with quick feet and consistent swing technique to put away balls that others can't. She's going to have the edge on blockers in almost any situation.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='456516' first='Kennedy' last='Duncan'], OH South Lyon/Dynamite

Duncan emerged from a South Lyon offense that spread the ball out pretty well, to be one of their most reliable hitters even as a freshman. She moves around the net well and can play the middle or the outsides, which is a real asset to have. Her serve is impressive as well, as she works to be more consistent in all phases of the game.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='442972' first='Brier' last='Skelton'], S Brighton/Michigan Elite

Coming from a program that has developed some very talented setters, Skelton looks to be meeting the same benchmarks. She's got a calm presence on the court and never looks rushed. She hits her locations well and can get the ball to the hot hand in position to succeed. Skelton communicates well and is continuing to develop leadership skills.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='490377' first='Coco' last='Bossardet'], RS East Grand Rapids/MVA

Bossardet is a 6-footer that can play either pin. She has a really smooth swing that produces a lot of consistent velocity and power. When she's connecting with her setter, Bossardet can bring the ball down at very sharp angles. As she continues to add nuances to her shot, she's going to be a very tough hitter to slow down.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='454361' first='Sophie' last='Bohl'], MH Saline/Michigan Elite

With the Bohl name, you know Sophie is going to have some intangibles that you can't teach. Size and length is certainly a strength for her and she can generate a lot of power in her swing without having to use much arm speed. As she develops that arm speed and finds more consistent timing to come down on the ball, Bohl will certainly be an appealing prospect at the next level.

WL [player_tooltip player_id='470031' first='Avery' last='Kapeller'], OH OLSM/High Performance

Kapeller is a competitive outside that has put a lot of work into being able to make a play anywhere on the floor. She's long and athletic, which allows her to make tough plays at the net, but also make the tough dig on defense. Kapeller does well with her out-of-system swings and is going to find a way to finish a point. Her adaptability goes very well with her athleticism.
