We have been watching the 2026 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be listed in the rankings due to their individual performances.
Masina Ogbechie Masina Ogbechie 6'0" | RS Oaks Christian School | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-0 Outside (HS: Oaks Christian/Club: Sports Academy/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Miss Ogbechie to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 49th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Oaks Christian High School and for the Sports Academy volleyball club program. Miss Ogbechie can fly high on the pins and puts the ball down with authority. What I love about her is that she is so versatile along the net and can hit different tempos and run many routes, even in the same rally. Usually, this will mess with the timing of players, but Masina makes it look so easy. One of the big reasons that we added her to the State Rankings list is her ability to control her entire body in every aspect of the game. Her lower body is super strong and that allows her to not have to create and utilize momentum during out of system plays. She is still able to jump without an approach and hit with power. Not many players her age can do this. Her offensive arsenal is vast and she scores down the line and also deep cross court well. Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed amongst the great players of this state.
Brynn Minter Brynn Minter 6'0" | OH Los Alamitos | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-0 Outside (HS: Los Alamitos/Club: Mizuno Long Beach/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Miss Minter to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 50th best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Los Alamitos High School and for the Mizuno Long Beach volleyball club program. Brynn has an old school game to her where she can bang if she needs to but also add some sauce to her scoring with off-speed and tools. Her arm swing is electric and it makes it very difficult to block her. It also helps her to be able to tool the block so effectively from the left side. I love that she is unafraid to throttle the ball from the back row and her setter looks for her out of serve receive situations. That kind of trust in her abilities tells me a lot about her game. The timing it takes in order to be effective out of the back row is next level and Brynn does it so easily. Her hand contact is another aspect that shines in her play. It allows her to direct the ball anywhere she wants it to go. This will keep her as an offensive threat for many years to come. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
Jordan Kennedy Jordan Kennedy 5'11" | MB Centennial (Bakersfield) | 2026 State CA [2026] 6-0 Middle (HS: Centennial/Club: Dartfrog/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Miss Kennedy to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 51st best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Centennial High School and also for the Dartfrog volleyball club. Jordan is a middle with a super high motor along the net. I love how active she is both in blocking and driving toward her setter. She knows her role and plays it very well being a target that is always on time for quick sets. There is not a route that she doesn’t run with authority. I like how she understands spacing principles during the fifty-one routes. When the pass takes her to one side of the court, she knows to attack the opposite side of the opponent’s court. This is why she has been a valuable member of any squad she is on. Middles like her that can cut to both sides of the court are amazing for their teams. This kind of awareness on the court will keep her as a player to watch for many years to come. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in our prestigious State Rankings.
