Here’s how it works: I’ll pop up a random number generator that includes the 2025 rankings. I’ll generate 10 numbers and the 10 that come up will be the ranking of the player. I’ll then spotlight those players in the article to help give them some more attention.
There’s 141 players ranked in our Class of 2025. Let’s see who has the lucky numbers this month:
61. Kylie Anderson Kylie Anderson 5'8" | S Mattawan | 2025 State MI , S Mattawan
Anderson has taken over running the Mattawan offense for a few years now. She’s got a great grasp on the hitters and where to get them the ball. Anderson has had Mattawan hitting at a high rate while spreading the ball out to a lot of options.
45. Chloe Aalfs Chloe Aalfs 5'10" | OH Buchanan | 2025 State MI , OH Buchanan/Dunes
An All-State outside in Division 3, Aalfs really found another gear during the prep season. The 5’10” outside has a nice mixture of shots, but can really dial up the fastball when needed. Aalfs still has a high ceiling and is working on becoming a dominant six-rotation outside.
83. Tessah Konas Tessah Konas 5'8" | S Traverse City St. Francis | 2025 State MI , S TC St. Francis/NorthShore
Konas was one of two setters that helped lead St. Francis to the D3 final this prep season. The Gladiators never missed a beat offensively with their setters in control. Konas brought out the best in her hitters with accurate feeds, while also being a steady defensive option and a strong serve.
126. Makenzie Nearman Makenzie Nearman 5'11" | MB Midland Bullock Creek | 2025 State MI , MH Bullock Creek/Michigan Elite
Nearman has been able to excel from the middle or the outside. This club season has seen her already showing a lot of improvement as an outside. Nearman has been putting away points from the back row and doing a good job of remaining patient with her swing.
7. Olivia Grenadier Olivia Grenadier 6'1" | MB Country Day | 2025 State #91 Nation MI , MH Country Day/Legacy
Grenadier unfortunately missed a big portion of the prep season with an injury, but that hasn’t slowed her down from still being one of the best middles in the country. The Colorado commit feels nearly automatic when the ball comes her way. She’s got the explosiveness and arm speed that defenses can’t match.
32. Mya Kattula Mya Kattula 5'11" | S Notre Dame Prep | 2025 State MI , S/RS ND Prep/Michigan Elite
Another great combo player from Notre Dame Prep, Kattula has grown a lot in the leadership department. She’s playing with a lot of confidence and has been able to excel as a setter and hitter with her good footwork and high court IQ.
135. Avary Polavin Avary Polavin 5'10" | OH Forest Hills Northern | 2025 State MI , OH FH Northern/MVA
Polavin missed a chunk of the prep season, but she’s going to be working hard to make up that ground this club season with Rise Academy 71. Polavin mixes up her shots well and stays within herself. She lets the play come to her and remains consistent at putting a good ball over the net.
54. Amelia Klos Amelia Klos 6'0" | OH Anchor Bay | 2025 State MI , OH Anchor Bay/Legacy
The 6-foot Klos has the ability to climb the ladder and play well above the net. She’s shown a lot of improvement with her timing and ability to move around the net to put down some highlight-reel kills. Klos also has proven she can make an impact with her defensive play, which gets better each week.
11. Marie Laurio Marie Laurio 5'10" | OH Saline | 2025 State #147 Nation MI , OH Saline/Legacy
A Syracuse commit, Laurio has proven to be a real gamer. She’s never been intimidated since stepping on a varsity floor as a freshman and has quickly developed into one of the all-time greats at Saline. Laurio has all the power you want in an outside, but also shows the quickness and finesse to be a great six-rotation outside.
116. Laura Mabrey Laura Mabrey 5'3" | DS/L Mt. Morris | 2025 State MI , DS/L Mt. Morris
Mabrey has been a workhorse for Mt. Morris, helping it contend with the top teams in Division 2. Mabrey stays light on her feet and shows lightning-fast instincts when power shots are coming her way. She can make an accurate feed on a sprawl or dive and quickly get back up to do it again seconds later.
