Prep Dig Cali 2023 – A Year of Thanks
Wow! We are in the middle of our second year as a publication and I cannot be more proud as the Scouting Director of California. We hope you are enjoying reading our articles and hope it is helping with college exposure. It took a lot of hard work over the last year and a half to get our site up, running and to the level at which it is right now. We have enjoyed meeting so many people willing to help us grow.
2023 was very special to us as we grew our State Rankings List and have a total of 401 amazing players listed on our site in grades 10-12. The freshman Rankings are being worked on now and I will be releasing them very soon! We have grown our Instagram and X social media sites very well through countless posts, reels, shout outs, and comment interactions with players, parents, and coaches. Our wonderful scout Michelle Bamford has done such a nice job with it. We were super excited to run our Inaugural Top 250 Expo showcase for the California players, which went off extremely well. There were 80 amazing players who were able to get so much exposure through articles before the event, after the event, and through live streaming and recording by BallerTV. So many players introduced themselves to our wonderful scouts so they can help their college recruiting journey with added exposure. Just for California, in this year alone, we have written 540 articles, which covered 3-8 players per article. There is no other publication in our amazing sport who covers more players more frequently than us. As we enter into another club season, we are ready to do so much more! Get ready for an amazing 2024 to come.
Special thanks goes out to our AMAZING California scouts Shannique Soliata, Andy Cole, Michelle Bamford, Teran Rodriguez and countless staff behind the scenes to make everything work and give each player the time, respect, and exposure they clearly deserve for all of their hard work. This could not be possible, at this level, without them. If you see them out at a tournament or if you want to reach out to them via social media to say thanks, I’m sure they will appreciate it.
Thank you to the countless referees, line judges, and all other facility organizers who helped make the high school and club seasons run so well. Thank you to all of the tournament organizers that just started with the club season now underway. Without you the players wouldn’t be able to play. We at Prep Dig California would like to give you kudos, as it doesn’t go unnoticed.
We would like to thank the parents for everything they do for their children and teammates you watch out for. It truly takes a village and without you the players wouldn’t be able to get to where they need to be. If you see us at a tournament…SAY HI!!!!! Tag us in pics!!!!!
Thank you to the coaches who continue to push the athletes to realize their potential. We know that you all truly do it for the kids. Your hard work behind the scenes does not go unnoticed also.
Thank you to the players for being so committed to your craft and showing us how strong you are physically, mentally, and emotionally. We at Prep Dig are so proud of your hard work. We cannot say enough how proud we are of all of you players. If you see us at a tournament…SAY HI!!!!! Tag us in pics!!!!!
And lastly, we would like to thank all of our readers for helping us grow. Thank you for the countless messages to help us find new athletes to cover. Thank you for the kind words that you say on social media. But most of all…thank you very much for reading our articles. We hope to bring you more captivating content this coming year and we have some other new things on the horizon that we are hoping to bring you in 2024. Stay tuned and as always…VOLLEY ON!!!!!!
