Texas Team Spotlight Vol 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are one month and a half into the club season and we have seen a lot of volleyball already.&nbsp; Teams are solidifying their lineups to find the right mix to get into Qualifier season.&nbsp; Here are some teams and players who definitely are turning heads due to their play.&nbsp; This series will highlight some players who we have seen in person and we are adding to our list to watch this season.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>Drive Nation 17 Red</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Setter [player_tooltip player_id='180167' first='Hannah' last='Beauford'] is the general of this awesome army of ballers.&nbsp; She is the engine that makes this team function well.&nbsp; I am not sure if there is another setter in her age group who plays with more fire and energy.&nbsp; She has plenty of weapons in her offensive arsenal.&nbsp; Let's start with the outsides.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='319144' first='Kendall' last='Timme'] is a big time point scorer with enormous potential to go on long runs without being stopped.&nbsp; She can fly high above the net and rip balls wherever she wants to.&nbsp; Middle Kierstyn Carlton provides a very big target when she jumps for quick attacks.&nbsp; I love how fast her whip of an arm swing operates with.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='751909' first='Keelea' last='Alexander'] is smooth with it in the back row.&nbsp; This team of heavy hitters can swing away with confidence knowing that she is behind them to clean up any mess.&nbsp; She has speed and a high volleyball IQ to match up with anyone.&nbsp; Evelyn [player_tooltip player_id='184302' first='Macie' last='Potter'] can play all the way around if needed in the opposite position.&nbsp; She has a cannon for an arm and scores at a very high clip on the right side.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='180161' first='Olivia' last='Cohee'] provides this team with ample versatility.&nbsp; She can truly do it all on the court front row or back row.&nbsp; I watched her patrol the back row and give the team great passes out of middle back in the match I was present for.&nbsp; This team has some more studs that we will discuss very soon in another article.&nbsp; They are primed and ready for any match up that will come their way in every tourney.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>[program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball 17 Black Haroun</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team is made up of some players who have tons of potential.&nbsp; I love how smooth setter [player_tooltip player_id='203370' first='Kiana' last='Babaei'] is with the ball in her hands.&nbsp; She has a phenomenal jump set that volleyball purists will love.&nbsp; Her play on the court since last year has made all of us watch a little closer and move her into our State Rankings list.&nbsp; Libero [player_tooltip player_id='202871' first='Sophie' last='Bridges'] is as tough as they come and can pass anything coming her way.&nbsp; She has proven herself over and over to be in the conversation of liberos to watch.&nbsp; Outside hitters [player_tooltip player_id='209429' first='Jayla' last='Jackson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='180173' first='Karli' last='Jordan'] are a little undersized but can sky with anyone above the net.&nbsp; They have power for days due to their lightning quick arm swing.&nbsp; Middle De'andrea plays well above the net and has a lot of potential to be on our watch list.&nbsp; I also really enjoyed watching [player_tooltip player_id='254292' first='Ryleigh' last='Davis'] swing on the right side.&nbsp; She has a ton of power in her right arm when attacking.&nbsp; What I love about her is that she is a top tier setter also who can deliver the rock with precision.&nbsp; Outside Emma Sorenson showed very well on the left side in the match that I watched.&nbsp; She is long and uses some great court vision to score in a variety of ways.&nbsp; I think it will take a bit of time for this team to gel, but they have so much potential to give opponents a ton of problems on the volleyball court.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As always stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.&nbsp; If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at <a href="mailto:Michael@prepdig.com">Michael@prepdig.com</a>.&nbsp; Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.&nbsp; Help us help them by simply retweeting on Twitter or sharing on Facebook.&nbsp; Thanks for following us, Prep Dig Family!&nbsp; Don't be afraid to interact with us.&nbsp; We love the likes, shares, and quotes/comments.&nbsp; Keep them coming!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
