Triple Crown was, yet again, one for the books.
The talent on display and the epic match-ups throughout the convention center did not disappoint.
Still reeling from all of the fun, let’s take a look at some of the biggest performers from the tournament. Who were the fab five outside hitters in the 17s division this year?
Madison Quest – MKE Sting
Arguably the MVP of the entire tournament, Madison Quest was absolute dynamite in Kansas City. A scoring machine from the jump, Quest was able to lead her squad all the way to the Triple Crown 17 Elite Title. She had to take down some serious comp along the way that included a stacked 1st Alliance team in the finals.
Tereya Sigler – Arizona Storm
This outside hitter continues to shine the further into her career she gets. Teraya Sigler had another fantastic showing at this year’s Triple Crown. While nearly matching her squads’ finish from last year’s NIT, Sigler led Storm to a fifth place finish.
Jessica Costlow – Michigan Elite
No better way to show off what you got than at the best tournament of the year. Triple Crown proved to be a great showcase for the high flying Jessica Costlow. A go-to for Elite in all facets of the game including first and last contact, Costlow was critical in Elite’s 6-0 run to start the tournament.
Tekoa Barnes – Tribe
If you’re looking for an absolute powerhouse to feast your eyes on, Tekoa Barnes is your player to watch. A cannon for an arm, she’s sending bombs on bombs over the net every single time. Barnes is a dog and gets after it amongst the best in the country. She was showing off some great six rotation play in KCMO.
Bellamie Beus – Idaho Crush
Playing up in the 17s division, Bellamie Beus looks like she’s even a couple years ahead of this group’s level of play. That’s how good she it. A dynamo scorer for Crush, Beus has one of the most lethal back row attacks you will find in the gym. Making her that much more deadly. Beus is a serious contender for being named the number one prospect in the country for the 2026 class.
