Here’s how it works: I’ll pop up a random number generator that includes the 2026 rankings. I’ll generate 10 numbers and the 10 that come up will be the ranking of the player. I’ll then spotlight those players in the article to help give them some more attention.
There’s 110 players ranked in our Class of 2026. Let’s see who has the lucky numbers this month:
99. Kyli Geoghan Kyli Geoghan 5'9" | OH Mona Shores | 2026 State MI , OH/DS Mona Shores
Geoghan was a solid defensive contributor to Mona Shores this past fall. She really picked up her play toward the end of the season, coming through with some double-digit dig totals during the postseason. Geoghan also brought a strong serve to the court. She showed a lot of consistency and quickness in her ability to get under attacks and make accurate feeds to the setter.
61. Ella Azbell Ella Azbell 5'9" | OH Holly | 2026 State MI , OH Holly/Arsenal
Azbell is playing up at the 18U level for Arsenal this club season, which gives her an opportunity to really test her skills against older and faster competition. She’s picked up the pace of her play and has improved on her quickness in transitioning from defense to offense and vice versa. Azbell is consistently getting her attacks past blockers and deep into the back row.
55. Jaidyn Vanochten Jaidyn Vanochten 5'5" | DS/L Reese | 2026 State MI , DS/L Reese
A multi-sport athlete, Vanochten has a lot of big-match experience for Reese as just a sophomore. She’s been the foundation of the back row for a few seasons and has come through time and again. Vanochten is very comfortable leading on the floor and she moves and plays with a lot of confidence. It’s hard to fool her, as she gets into position quickly and adjusts well to deflections and tips.
89. Vivian Jones Vivian Jones 6'1" | OH Brighton | 2026 State MI , OH Brighton/Michigan Elite
Jones has a lot of athleticism and quickness and is growing in confidence in her finishing ability the net. Jones’ swing is quick and explosive and she’s able to play the ball at a high point. She’s also scrappy in the blocking game. As Jones continues to get more swings, she’s going to keep finding ways to finishing points and become a complete hitter.
5. Karis Chatfield Karis Chatfield 5'11" | OH Jenison | 2026 State MI , OH Jenison/FaR Out
Chatfield had a breakout prep season with Jenison, leading the offense in kills. She had a big impact all around the floor with 585 kills, over 500 digs and over 100 aces. She’s now one of the leading offensive threats for FaR Out 16 Black this club season. Her attack angles are at an elite level and she’s able to still put quality shots in play far off the net. Whenever the ball comes her way, it’s going to be challenging for the defense.
49. Delaney Gilmore Delaney Gilmore 5'9" | S Brighton | 2026 State MI , S/RS Brighton/L2
Gilmore has been having a strong club season with L2 161. She just recently led her squad to a 16/15 Open title at the SPVB Presidents’ Day Challenge in Illinois. Gilmore is a gifted athlete that has a technically smooth swing that is generating more and more power as of late. As a setter, Gilmore has a clean delivery and is able to pull out powerful swings from her hitters.
24. Madison Geer Madison Geer 5'9" | OH Frankenmuth | 2026 State MI , OH Frankenmuth/Legacy
Geer proved she’s a star in the making for Frankenmuth this past fall. She’s eager to take on a big workload and has the intensity and athleticism to be a leader with her play. This club season, Geer is fine-tuning her attacks to be a better finisher and find the right mix of power and finesse. Defensively, Geer is also working hard to be a polished passer and six-rotation option.
73. Alexa Randle El Alexa Randle El 5'7" | OH Detroit Country Day | 2026 State MI , OH Detroit Country Day/Legacy
As part of a really strong defensive team at Legacy, Randle El has been very reliable to the squad’s efforts. She’s very consistent with her serve receive and first contact. Her out-of-system feeds to hitters have also given them a great chance to finish points. This next year is likely to be a breakout year for Randel El as she gets more opportunities at the prep level.
105. Mckenna Boykin Mckenna Boykin 5'8" | MB Portland | 2026 State MI , MH Portland/MVA
Boykin made the move to MVA this club season and its going to help take her game to another gear. Boykin already has a solid swing and can finish points in multiple ways. The big step for her is picking up speed and tempo of her play. That’s improving with this club season against stronger competition and should pay off next fall as Boykin’s play should become more instinctive.
12. Taliyah Hanks Taliyah Hanks 6'2" | MB Loy Norrix | 2026 State MI , MH Loy Norrix/Dead Frog
An impressive 6’2” middle, Hanks is a player that isn’t getting as much pub as her peers, but is certainly going to turn a lot of heads in the years to come. With her length and explosiveness off the floor, Hanks comes down on the ball at very sharp angles and with a lot of speed. Not many can withstand her in-system swings. However, Hanks has proven to be able to adjust mid-fly to the ball and still put the ball on the floor with offspeed swings. Not to mention, her blocking is dominant as well.
