A 6’0 pin, Sun has good point scoring potential from both sides of the court. She swings with a high elbow that can get the ball to the floor fast when she has space around or between the block, or she can challenge opposing hands high at the top of her approach. The Dublin Jerome product terminated over 100 kills during the high school season to help her team finish with a 20-4 overall record. Her 17 Black team will next be at Bluegrass in Louisville.

For Miami Trace this past fall, Butts earned a career best 330 kills for a 4.9 k/s average. The 6’0 middle is a great offensive option for this team as she can terminate with good power when open to the ball and creating good space around her setter. Her contributions also helps free up the big presence they have at the left pin. Butts also earned career best numbers at the service line in total aces and with 1.9 blocks per match.

Rex is a 6’2 setter with big upside to her game. Early this club season she is showing some big gains in the command of the court and her team’s offense as a primary distributor. Her size and length is a huge asset as a setter for the next level as she contacts the ball at a high touch point. The consistency of her location and tempo has also improved is showing well her ability to go all directions when in the pocket and on the move.

She has great arm speed and control to move the ball around as she maximizes her physical tools well to score. Her six-rotation tools include being able to swing for points out of the back row as well as contribute effectively in the first-touch phase with good angle production and quickness that expands her pursuit range defensively. She earned 210 total kills for Hayes this past fall high school season.

Hayes is an aggressive pin attacker. Her point scoring ability on the left side is among the best for this group. At 5’11, she has good mechanics to get good lift that is followed by a relentless effort at swinging for big power. She has good court awareness and arm control to be able to swing through the full scope of the opponent’s court. An Alder product, she had 329 total kills over the 2023 high school season for a 3.9 k/s average while also picking up 10 digs per match.
