The rules are the same. If I highlight your video in January, the likelihood of me highlighting another during the club season is slim but can occur if we have a slow month. With that being said, here are some of my ballers from January.
Up first, Lauren Fenemore Lauren Fenemore 5’7″ | DS/L Mill Valley | 2026 State KS . We have some Power League Qualifier highlights from the PVA 16 Elite libero. Early on you can see how important she is in the serve/receive game, as she passes with confidence and to spot on a high percentage. Defensively, I really like her anticipation and first step to get to balls others would need to dive for but you can still find her laying out on the ground when necessary to keep the balls off the court.
The first to tag me in videos this season, Addie McNeive who also plays for PVA 16 Elite. With McNeive and Fenemore rotating in the libero jersey, you won’t find as many top level defenders on one team. I really like how McNeive takes control on the court. She is vocal and does a great job on second ball contact to give attackers good balls to swing at. Another strength you see in her game is also passing, where she is lights out.

I will keep the libero train rolling after seeing the highlights from Shockwave 17-1’s Chloe Traffas Chloe Traffas 5’4″ | DS/L Attica | 2025 State KS . I know it sounds like a broken record when we say the libero passes well, it’s expected. However, one of the things you look for is technique and the “want” to pass the ball and you see that in her highlights. She’s confident enough in her abilities she’ll jump in front of another passer to keep in system.
Highlights
We get Northern Lights Qualifier highlights from Power ‘]’s Klukvin. We are familiar with her game as she is one of the top back row defenders in the state. She doesn’t shy away from the heat coming right at her head. She stands in front of it and manages to get the ball to the setter in a good spot to find a hitter. She is as good as they come in the left back.

A finally get a non-libero! Another Shockwave 17-1 player, Jordyn Washington Jordyn Washington 6’0″ | MB Andover Central | 2025 State KS gave us a tag in her Power League Qualifier highlights from Gardner, KS. The middle blocker was efficient offensively in front of the setter off of two feet. Her blocking game was also on display with some timely blocks in the middle. I was also impressed with her back row defense after she served, not too shabby at all!
Highlights
Another talented middle, Dawson shared some of her Power League highlights. What stands out immediately is she is bouncy! She gets off the ground fast and has good timing with her setter. Her ability to decide when to go thumb down in her attacks was also something that caught my attention as she was able to find open spots on the floor with that decision making. You can find her on PVA 17 Elite.
Highlights
Chavez posted her Power League Day one highlights. The southpaw right side was very good with her shot selection and placement to score in bunches. She does a good job of working around the block and has good court vision.
Highlights
We have a setter in the mix with Mavs KC’s Addi Bloor Addi Bloor 5’8″ | S Blue Valley West | 2026 State KS . Her Power League Qualifier highlights showed she was tremendous on the day in set placement, especially to the left pin. She also isn’t shy offensively and will look to score herself on two when the opportunity presents itself. And for added measure, defensively she locked things up in right back.
