Deylen Mendivi – San Antonio Juniors 16 Adidas
Pin hitter Deylen Mendivi stood out amongst the crowd this weekend, and even within her own offensively stacked team. Deylen was aggressive at the net both offensively and defensively and made several huge monster blocks in critical moments. Her ability to stay calm even in tight situations was noticed, and she was given the ball on offense during crucial moments and was able to execute the play. She had several kills put away near the 10 foot line, and brought energy and excitement to the floor.
Aariyana Lesane – Dallas Premier 16 Black
Middle blocker Aariyana Lesane was dominant on day 1 of Tour of Texas Stop 2. Every time I looked over, she was getting the ball and putting it away. She is very tall and long, and her contact point is well over the block. She also has a quick follow through which makes for a perfect middle attack. Aariyana is a new face for me, but I think her potential is high enough to compete with some of the best.
Brooke Brown – Katy United 16 Adidas
Aggressive middle blocker Brooke Brown got everyone’s attention over the weekend with her powerful arm swing. She easily had one of the heaviest hits in the gym over the weekend. She got a ton of sets out of the middle position, and she was hitting the ball very well for Katy United. She was consistent in her approach and ability to be available for her setters, which really paid off for the teams overall success.
Kennedy White Kennedy White 5'8" | OH Cypress Ranch | 2026 TX – Texas Tornados 16 Adidas
Outside hitter Kennedy White Kennedy White 5'8" | OH Cypress Ranch | 2026 TX had a great two day tournament and consistently played well. Her athleticism set her apart from the crowd in her ability to out jump opponents at the net. She is a scrappy player who can make tough plays turn into points, which we saw with her 8 kills in one set. She also came off the bench on day 2 after a team injury and made an immediate difference with her energy and intensity.
Chloe White Chloe White 5'6" Dripping Springs | 2026 TX – Austin Performance 16 Baden
I really enjoyed watching Chloe White Chloe White 5'6" Dripping Springs | 2026 TX and the whole AP 16 Baden team over the weekend. They played hard every match, and Chloe was always the calm consistent force in the back. She very rarely made any errors, and put up double digit digs in several games. Her setter was able to set from target most of the game, because of Chloe’s consistent passing.
