Here is a report on six prospects who I look forward to seeing play in the event. I plan on watching matches on Court 4 to start the day. Stay tuned for multiple scouting reports covering Power League Play this weekend as the 15U Division plays on Sunday.
Paxton Damme Paxton Damme 5'10" | OH Perry-Lecompton | 2027 State KS , 5’10”, OH/RS, Perry Lecompton, ’27 (Topeka Saints 17-1)
I saw Damme at a Topeka Saints club practice last weekend. She plays for Perry-Lecompton and plays up on the Saints’ roster. She has a big reach and has big ups. I am looking forward to seeing her play in a competitive environment against older talent.
Jaiden Wise Jaiden Wise 5'8" | OH Silver Lake | 2026 State KS , 5’7”, RS/OH, Silver Lake, ’26 (Topeka Saints 17-1)
Like Damme, Wise is playing up and I watched her last weekend at Hayden High School. She has a nice approach and a sweet swing. I also saw her play for Silver Lake during the fall. Wise has two Silver Lake teammates on the Saints squad and I want to see how all three of them look against Power League competition.
Elle Davis, 5’11”, OH/DS, Trinity Academy, ’25 (KS Networks 17-1)
I saw Davis play last fall. She is a special athlete who enjoys hitting the ball hard and understands that she can be a difference-maker on the court. I will continue with the same narrative as above. I scouted Davis against a couple of overmatched high school squads and now I want to see if she shines against some of the best club competition in the region.
Kenzy McArtor Kenzy McArtor 6'0" | OH Clearwater | 2025 State KS , 6’0”, MB/OH, Clearwater, ’25 (KS Networks 17-1)
Unlike the first three prospects, I have not seen McArtor play. She was an all-conference player during her junior season and helped lead Clearwater to the Class 4A State Tournament. On film, she appears to be athletic and a high-energy hitter.
Prayer Roebuck Prayer Roebuck 5'10" | RS Neodesha | 2025 State KS , 5’10”, RS, Neodesha, ’25 (Shockwave 17-1)
I saw Shockwave play in December and look forward to seeing them play again. Roebuck is a physical hitter who plays for Neodesha. I did not see her play during the prep season. She is also playing club and prep basketball and will be looking to impress scouts and coaches in both sports as she heads into her senior season.
Chloe Traffas Chloe Traffas 5'4" | DS/L Attica | 2025 State KS , 5’3”, DS/L, Attica, ’25 (Shockwave 17-1)
Traffas caught my eye at an earlier qualifying tournament. She has quick feet and makes consistent first passes. She really surprised me the first time I scouted her and now I want to see if she lives up to my expectations. She could end up being a Division I/Division II prospect at libero.
