It’s one of the biggest weekends of the year in club volleyball.
With Triple Crown this weekend, not only does this bring the best of the best to one tournament, but it marks the end of the quiet period for Division I Recruiting. All of the stars will be out!
With some of the best talent on display, yet, some of the best hidden gems remain untouched. Here are some of the top uncommitted prospect from Michigan at Triple Crown.
Alana Bailey Alana Bailey 6'0" | MB East Kentwood | 2025 State MI – FaR Out 18 Black
One of the top emerging middles in the Michigan 2025 class, Alana Bailey Alana Bailey 6'0" | MB East Kentwood | 2025 State MI joins forces with 18 Black in her junior season. Bailey is alongside some of the best that Michigan has to offer that includes high powered middles such as Kendall Hopewell Kendall Hopewell 6'1" | MB Forest Hills Northern | 2024 State #193 Nation MI (Northern Kentucky). Bailey has proved herself to be quite an effective blocker and an increasing threat offensively. This roster boasts a lot of options for weapons at the net and Bailey has wedged herself as one of the most potent.
Katerina Stout Katerina Stout 6'3" | MB Macomb Dakota | 2025 State MI – Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno
Michigan Elite 17 Mizuno has kicked off the season in quite the explosive fashion. Within the last few weeks, 17 Miz has finished atop both the Northern Lights Qualifier and the Central Zone Invite. A big reason for this has been the introduction of Katerina Stout Katerina Stout 6'3" | MB Macomb Dakota | 2025 State MI . A new addition to this group, Stout has added a lot of depth to the group with her elite blocking and ever-growing offensive prowess. MiElite will be down a middle going into the weekend which poses a lot of opportunities to catch Stout in action.
Addison Williams Addison Williams 6'2" | MB South Lyon East | 2025 State MI – Legacy 17-1 Adidas
This player can weave on and off the bench and provide a real spark. Legacy is coming off of a Runner-Up finish at Central Zone behind the net play of Addison Williams Addison Williams 6'2" | MB South Lyon East | 2025 State MI . Spending a lot of time in the middle, Williams continues to shine in that role. Her movement along the net and transition play has grown superbly. I continue to be amazed with how well Williams plays on the court, but yet is not committed to a big time program. Triple Crown provides the perfect stage for her to show off what she’s made of.
Saige Martin Saige Martin 6'0" | MB Pewamo Westphalia | 2024 State MI – Michigan Elite 18 Mizuno
Whoever ends up snagging this player has a real dandy on their hands. At one point, Saige Martin Saige Martin 6'0" | MB Pewamo Westphalia | 2024 State MI was one of the top track and field prospects Michigan had to offer. After a state championship in the fall of her junior year on the volleyball courts, Martin has found new love for the game. Athletic and dynamic, Martin can hit just about anything along the net. With 18 Mizuno, she’s transitioned from the middle to the right pin and has become a go-to point scorer.
Avery Woodard Avery Woodard 5'7" | S Marysville | 2024 State MI – Michigan Elite 18 Mizuno
For years, Avery Woodard Avery Woodard 5'7" | S Marysville | 2024 State MI had been known for her exceptional setting abilities. With that, she’s shown to be an elite defensive player as well. In her final year of club ball, Woodard has made the move to defensive specialist and thrives in the role. No need to worry about running the offense, she’s become a digging machine. Woodard is another dual sport athlete who thrives in center field on the softball fields. Her speed and quick twitch nature helps her thrive in the scrappy defensive role she’s grown into.
