As part of Mintonette’s top 17U team, the 5’11 Thomas is showing a more complete game as an attacker. She does good work early to get herself available to swing and uses good footwork to create time and space that works to her advantage. As she can score through varied attack points in front of the setter she has increased her effectiveness off of one foot on the slide.

She competes with an ease about her game and movement with good patience and pursuit in her opportunities to swing or defend. At 5’11, she has good athleticism that is displayed at the close of her approach work and the speed she can create with her arm.

At 5’9, Ritter has been performing well so far this club season for her Tribe team. Although undersized by most standards to compete in the middle, Ritter holds her own offensively. Through a higher tempo option she uses her physical tools well to get up and swing aggressively. She opens well to the ball and can swing with good control and range. She also has good tools to contribute in the back row as well.
