Every team is on the hunt to placed themself on the top in preparation for the USAV Nationals in Las Vegas. I have been following this division closely for the past several months, the number of talented players is impressive. The competition has been tough as many of the team participating in Georgia faced themself in previous qualifiers and local tournaments. The following teams are a must watch during this qualifier as they had an outstanding performance just a few weeks ago in the Sunshine Classic Qualifiers and are eager to get back to the intense competition.
Game Point 16 Rox – Finished in second place in the Sunshine Qualifiers, this team is ready to get back on the court looking to finish on top this upcoming weekend. This team has several powerhouse players including the 5’8″ Outside Hitter Catherine Palmi Catherine Palmi 5'8" | OH Osceola | 2026 FL and the left handed Opposite 6’0″ Sophia Spivey Sophia Spivey 6'0" | RS Osceola | 2026 FL . I’m sure this team is about to make some noise this weekend.
Jacksonville Juniors 16 Teal – It’s been just a few weeks since this team has the taste of victory finishing first in the USA Division, they are back on the road to prove their talented team during the upcoming tough competition. The team roster includes a bast amount of skillful players including the Outside Hitters Isabela Lopez (6’0″) and Sofia Muino Sofia Muino 5'10" | OH Bishop Kenny | 2026 FL (5’10”).
OT 16J Will – This OT team has an abundance of all around players. Their offense and defense seem to be on track to have a great performance during this weekend tournament. The team went back to the drawing board to ensure all the tools are tuned for this challenging competition ahead of them. The team has in their arsenal the Outside Hitters Camden Rahn (6’2″), Sophia Albaugh Sophia Albaugh 6'1" | OH The Bolles School | 2027 FL (6’1″) and Setter and Offensive player Adriana Jeanpierre Adriana Jeanpierre 5'9" | S Beacide | 2026 FL (5’9″).
No Name 16 Kevin – This team continues fighting for a spot among the top teams in the states. They have the right tools to perform to a higher level and face the tough competition ahead of them. The team roster has the height, power and defense to big a top-notch team, the middles are athletic with a strong presence on the net and their libero has an excellent consistency passing and digging balls around the court. Middles Elena Dibbs-Frantz Elena Dibbs-Frantz 6'5" | MB Bishop McLaughlin Catholic | 2026 FL (6’5), Milan (Cece) Sayles (6’4″), Libero Amelia Colon (5’6″).
OT 16 T JP – This is a fearless team; they has demonstrated great discipline and commitment during the first half of the club season. I’m sure they are ready to show their skills during this weekend event. Their Outside Hitter Peyton Slone Peyton Slone FL (5’11”) is consistent in her offense and middle back defense. Clearly a team to watch.
