– Mintonette m.51
With good versatility in her point scoring ability, Cocherl is a prolific scorer in the middle. Having seen her command the ball as a primary option for her club team, she can terminate with authority. This is evidenced by her high volume work and point scoring during her freshman season for Pleasant as she earned 434 total kills and a 5.0 k/s average this past fall high school season. Her ability to open up her arm and shoulders to her setter in the air helps her to develop great range along with some big pace. She and her teammates open the event as the #9 seed overall.
Franklin Ramsdell-Washington – TVC 15 Black
This 2027 athlete is one to get on your radar as she is athletic and has potential to develop into a high-level prospect throughout her prep career. At 6’0, she shows good explosiveness in her approach work and when on time and with good space she can score with assertiveness. Her range involves good quickness and footwork through a variety of options around her setter, including a big arm off of one foot overhead. Defensively, she closes down hitters well at the pins and can fill up big space when blocking.
Addi Lefeld – AVC CLE 15 Red
The Nordonia product has been effective at the right pin for this AVC squad. She moves well around the floor as a defender and in her transition. She develops good momentum in her approach that can lead to a big arm in the air when on time. Her fall numbers during the high school season indicate her potential at opposite given she earned nearly 100 total kills and 37 blocks as a freshman.
Rebecca Yockey – NOVA 15 Navy
At 5’11, Yockey has big potential to grow her overall game given the foundation she has as a middle blocker and attacker. Her defensive presence involves patience and good movement in her footwork and extension over the net. As an attacker, she creates good opportunities for herself with effective transition and space that helps her to swing aggressively and with good range.
Taylor Mathis – NOVA 15 Navy
A 5’4 setter, Mathis shows good command of her team’s offense. Her hand preparation is early with a high contact position that helps her release efficiently at the peak of her jump point. In her first varsity season for Triway she shared the setting role that led to a team best total of 464 assists on the season and an average of 5.5 a/s. Triway finished 20-5 overall and as league champs. NOVA is competing in the 15 USA division and open up play versus Milwaukee Sting.
