Our latest Nebraska 2025 update has added more than two dozen names to the rankings and watch list. This is all based on observations from a 2024 club season that is just a handful of weeks old. It's a solid number for a short period, but there's still plenty of work to be done. The narrative surrounding this class is still evolving.

Let's run through some introductions on the new names we've just added. Middle blockers will be in the spotlight for this one as we explore a position-by-position approach. Settle in for a Class of 2025 marathon through the rest of the week.

Hanes has excelled as a middle blocker and a pin hitter throughout her prep career. Even as she lit up opposing defenses from the middle with Elmwood-Murdock, Hanes is also making an impact at opposite for Nebraska Juniors. It's hard to put a single positional label on this dynamic athlete. Her breakout junior campaign with Elmwood-Murdock helped the Knights reclaim their perennial state tournament spot. It's a perfect recipe to elevate Hanes into the 2025 rankings.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["516729"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Kasischke joins the fray after multiple successful 2024 outings with Nebraska Elite 17 Prime. It all started at January's Northern Lights Qualifier, where Kasischke showed her potential as a shutdown middle blocker. Her lateral quickness from pin to pin bolster's 17 Prime's block, which has become a strength against high-level competition. Kasischke's momentum carried right into the ASICS Presidents' Day Classic as 17 Prime compiled a six-match winning streak in Omaha. Keep an eye on Kasischke during her senior year at Wahoo High School, too.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["516733"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Nebraska Elite 17 Apex brings plenty of new names to the 2025 conversation. Proskovec's addition to the 2025 rankings was overdue, especially as she earned a hard-hitting reputation with Fremont last fall. She made the most of her frontcourt reps on the Class A stage and was a leading blocker for the Tigers. This physical middle blocker excels on slower tempos that allow her high contact point to take over. A high-impact stint at the Presidents' Day Classic was enough to solidify Proskovec's spot in the rankings, and she has a chance to climb even further by the end of the year.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["516750"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Nebraska Juniors 17 Red rejoins the conversation. Macken has made her mark in the middle with her quick arm and tireless work in transition. Whenever 17 Red gets a good pass, you can bet on Macken getting her chance to terminate in front of the setter. And, like the aforementioned Hanes, Macken has developed the range to play on the right pin whenever needed. This lineup flexibility gives Nebraska Juniors impressive frontcourt depth among its 2025s.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["516753"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"More from 17 Red? Of course. Hohman is an emerging force at the net who was also part of Elmwood-Murdock's successful 2023 campaign. We saw Hohman thrive in the M1 role with Nebraska Juniors during the Midwest Power League, which requires a lot more than just killing balls in the front row. This middle blocker dialed up some tough serves in Rotation 6 and was even a force as a left-back defender. Complete skillsets from middle blockers will always capture our attention.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65e7c723ca8c9"} /-->
