It was held at the Winter Park Volleyball Club and was live streamed via BallerTV. This article series will discuss some of the players that turned the heads of the court coaches and scouts that were in attendance. Let’s see who earned the Top Performer award from the showcase.
Savannah Marie Smith Savannah Marie Smith 5'7" | S Coronado | 2026 TX [2026] 5-7 Setter (HS: Coronado/Club: Texas Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Savannah is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but turned our heads with her awesome performance at the showcase. She is currently listed on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball for Coronado High School and also plays club for the Texas Performance volleyball program. Miss Smith also made Top Performer recently in our showcase this past summer in Houston when she attended. I was eager to watch her compete against the awesome competition in Florida and she did not disappoint. She plays some very solid defense in the right back zone and that is what every coach wants in a setter. I love how she moves the ball around to all of her hitters very well with accurate and precise location. Out of system passes are not a problem for her as she uses some quick and balanced footwork to track down the ball. Her serve also showed to be very accurate and tough. Her backset was pinpoint accurate and very deceptive giving her right hitter a split in the block each time. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Top Performer award at the showcase.
Reagan Carlyle [2025] 5-7 Setter (HS: Western Guilford/Club: Piedmont Volleyball Club/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Reagan is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings, but that is only because we don’t have a North Carolina site yet. She plays volleyball for Western Guilford High School and also plays club for the Piedmont volleyball program. Miss Carlyle is one of those special setters who is not afraid to play all the way around if need be. She can swing on the front row and has a decent attack to help a team’s offense. As a setter she is very active tracking down passes and covering all of her hitters very well. Defensively, she showed some quick fast twitch muscles reacting to deflections and this excited a lot of the court coaches who worked with her. She was nominated for this award because of how hard she competed against the top competition on her court. Reagan has a lot of potential and tons of athleticism to potentially play at the next level. Her footwork was fast and she is also comfortable setting the ball off of one foot in emergency situations. Give her a look if you want a versatile setter for your program. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
Tori Brandon [2025] 5-11 Right Side (HS: Central/Club: SC Midlands/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Tori is currently an unranked prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings, but that is only because we do not have a website in South Carolina as of yet. She plays for Central High School and also club for the SC Midlands volleyball program. This talented lefty opposite was lethal throughout the showcase against anyone who matched up with her. Her vertical is nice and she gets up in a hurry and with conviction. As a blocker I liked how she pressed on the net when she battled. As an attacker, I noticed that her hand contact contained a pretty viscous pop due to her wrist snap. Being a lefty, it was easy for her to swing both line and angle with tons of power. This led to her team being very competitive. She has that “it factor” on the court that screams natural born leader. We loved what we saw from her play and you will also if you give her a chance. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
