With the conclusion of the Big South stop on the UA Next Camp Series, marks the halfway point of the tour.
After today, eight golden ticket invites have been handed out, that leaves 16 more on the table for the next three camps.
The energy was on fire in the gym today at the TK Volleyball facility in Roswell, GA. This pool of talent showcased a lot of exciting youth to keep an eye for the future and potentially invitees down the road after the conclusion of the series.
Let’s take a look at this stop’s invitee and MVPs.
Gold Ticket Invite
Asia Harvey – 575
6’0 OH – 575/Missouri
Coming out of the Big South stop of the tour as the lone All-America Invitee, Asia Harvey takes home her ticket. Harvey for the bulk of career has been touted as one of the top players in the class. With an explosive jump and dynamite for an arm, it’s a no brainer. Harvey marks the first invitee that is SEC bound as she has just recently committed to Missouri.
MVPs
Julia Grace
5’6 L – NKYVC/Xavier
First of the MVPs, we have Julia Grace out of NKYVC. While the pool of ‘bros in this field was pretty stacked, Grace’s game managed to shine through. This Xavier bound player had a lot of hustle and showed off a lot of fire in her play.
Bella Ekeler
5’7 S – K2
Next up, we have our first 2026 prospect to be named to an MVP at this year’s UA Next Camp Series. Bella Ekeler is one of those setters that can play a nice, complete game. She was setting dimes all day and had her hand in some great defense in the competition segment of the camp.
Emma Bryson
6’3 MB – Upward Stars/Georgia
Not many were hanging and banging quite like Emma Bryson was today. So, there is no doubt that she was going to be going home with an MVP honor. Bryson was crushing the game all day and really highlighted the middle blockers from the 2025 class. This future Bulldog was showing off her chops in her future home state.
Marissa Jones
6’1 S – A5
One of the most exciting prospects coming out of this new rookie class, Marissa Jones was on fire today. At 6’1, Jones provides a lot of size and athleticism to the setter position that makes her so deadly. She can be as much of a threat on the block and offense as she is in the setting position.
Kendal Northern
6’1 MB – Elevation
And rounding out the Big South stop on the UA Next tour, Kendal Northern joins Ekeler as another 2026 MVP. Much like Bryson, this was another middle who was hanging and banging all day. She’s one of the most exciting prospects in this position for the 2026 class and will be having a lot of eyes on her come June 15th.
