Flynn first caught our attention when she landed on the JVA Watchlist. With some further digging we find that she committed to play at Division 2 University of Mary in North Dakota. We caught some highlights of Flynn that showed she reads the play well and does a great of getting her hips under the ball. She does a great job taking care of the routine plays as well as the hard driven attacks.
Chmielewski has a way of seeing the court and finding the deep corners. I also really like how she sets up the block when she is on the pins. She can play all six rotations and doesn’t hesitate to take a big aggressive approach.
Strang is deliberate with her attack choices and does a great job of reaching high to get on top of the ball. She uses her core to put some speed on the ball and can terminate from anywhere on the net.
Sand is a ball of dynamite because she plays much bigger than her 5’6 frame. She reads the play and makes a quick move to the ball on defense. Sand is a real all around player that can do just about anything but clearly plays for the love of the game.
