Best of the best

When looking at 2025 setters, you can't ever look past [player_tooltip player_id='156295' first='Campbell' last='Flynn']. The 6'2” setter for Mercy and Legacy has already made an impact with a prep state championship and a national championship in club play. The Nebraska commit is everything you could want in a setter. She's got the length, the athleticism, the confidence and the leadership skills to truly be one of the greats. Flynn also does a great job of elevating the play of her hitters, which is evident when you watch her on the court. It also says a lot about her ability that she could be a top outside hitter in this class if she chose to play that position.

Prospects with high ceilings

This group of setters has a few with some elite length that could lead them to success at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='156298' first='Chloe' last='Giehtbrock'] is a 6'2” setter that elected to move to the position after starting her prep career as an outside. She's got the footwork and size to succeed as a setter, and is putting in a lot of work to make up for lost time. Giehtbrock is already committed to Arizona, as they see her potential. [player_tooltip player_id='482161' first='Jordyn' last='Anderson'] is a 6'3” setter from Ludington that has racked up a lot of assists for the Orioles program. She can play at a fast pace and makes her play look quite effortless at times. The next year should allow her to really showcase all her abilities before she heads to Nebraska-Omaha.

All-around talents

This class has a lot of setters that are just all-around leaders that play the position at a high level. [player_tooltip player_id='514803' first='Ella' last=''] Craggs has been in a lot of high-pressure matches over her prep and club career, and the Northville product always comes through. She's a great effort player that is able to make smooth sets in difficult situations. She's committed to play at Illinois State in 2025. [player_tooltip player_id='224597' first='Abby' last='Pickard'] is another top setter that can do a little bit of everything on the court. The Lakewood captain has a good feel for the play and when she needs to get more aggressive. Her ability to hit all the locations is impressive, but she can also turn on a ball herself with a lot of power. Pickard is heading to Northern Kentucky in 2025. [player_tooltip player_id='443896' first='Sydney' last='Bates'] is a setter that has raised the Portage Northern program to new heights in the last year. At 5'11”, she can compete above the net and get quick connections to her middles. Bates has good leadership qualities and a competitive fire that should do her well at College of Charleston.

Spark plugs

Along with leading the offense, setters are key to energy on the floor. This group has a lot of players that play with passion and energy that carry over to their teammates. [player_tooltip player_id='288955' first='Mya' last='Kattula'] is a setter/hitter combo for Notre Dame Prep, a program that has produced a lot of successful combo players at the college level. Kattula puts a lot on herself to make plays and her teammates look to her in pressure situations. [player_tooltip player_id='224600' first='Cali' last='Stevons'] has been an energy player for DeWitt. She gives her all on every point. Not just with her setting, but her defensive play. Her scrappiness has led to some big momentum swings. [player_tooltip player_id='261180' first='Korin' last='Hutton'] is the definition of a vocal leader. She's constantly supporting her teammates and offering encouragement. Hutton has the play to back up her vocal leadership as well, as she moves quickly on the floor and delivers with a soft touch.
