2026 Rankings: Five New Additions

Her abilities increase the depth for this team that is equally as competitive whether in a 5-1 or 6-2 offense given all the talent they present. Scholvin led the Orange Pioneers to a 26-4 overall record and a perfect season in conference play in 2023 while earning over 800 total assists. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Molly' last='Malone'] - MH | Toledo<br>Malone is a versatile offensive threat but shined for her SUA team in the middle during the high school season. At 5'11, she can get off the floor quickly and took advantage of her team's fast offense in the middle phase to be able to score well by challenging open space and late defense across the net. At 2.1 k/s for the Arrows in 2023, she led the team in blocking with a season total of 43 in the first significant action of her varsity career. She plays for a very good club team at TVC and has made good contributions offensively at the pins for a team that is complete in their talent and skills around the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='524607' first='Sophie' last='Davis'] - RS | [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last='']<br>The Bellbrook product was selected the Southwestern Buckeye-Southwestern Player of the Year in 2023 after leading her squad to an unbeaten league record. She led the Golden Eagles offensively at 4.4 k/s while also sharing the setting role through which she contributed 342 total assists and 228 digs. Her complete skill set is a a big part of her [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] team's effort as they have high potential for podium appearances at any event they enter. The 5'11 Davis currently provides a right side presence that helps to balance the big contributions in the middle and on the left side for her club team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='524605' first='Abigail' last='Buckner'] - DS/L | Mintonette<br>Buckner has big potential to develop into very good libero prospect. She is gaining a lot of great experience as part of Mintonette's top 16U squad and in evaluating her in the DS/L roles for them she can hold her own in both phases of serve receive and defense. One of the key elements for her success is her quickness as he can pursue the ball with speed and range to get to contact on her feet and with ability to use the length of her platform well. She has good athleticism and physical tools to contribute on both sides of the ball. Showing a lot of promise and upside to her game, the experience she is gaining through a challenging club schedule should benefit her well for the future of her prep career, which could include a more regular impact for the Irish in the fall following the graduation of some key pieces. As she improves in her movement efficiency and aggressiveness her opportunities and production will increase on offense.<br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
