Jordan Fortner
Jordan Fortner
Fortner has a really strong swing from both the pins and the middle. She sees the blocks develop before deciding which angles to take. Fortner can take some steps back for better angles if necessary. Fortner is also not afraid to take some things off hits to hit it away from defenders in the back row. Forner can hit shallow line shots giving opponents plenty to consider defensively. Fortner has great rhythm on her serves. Fortner had 267 kills, 37 solo blocks, 115 digs and 50 aces for North Hardin Classical this past fall.
Milliner played a key role for the Eagles this past fall as an opposite hitter and setter and is taking on similar roles for her club team. She is trying to develop into a solid all-around player. Milliner constantly calls for balls doing short and back sets trying to set up hitters for solid contact. Milliner throws in setter dumps and pushes to far corners throwing off opponents. Milliner can backhand balls on setter dumps to open parts of the floor. She plays solid defense, time blocks and can hit a hard line drive to the back line on serves. Milliner had 135 kills, 367 assists, 224 digs and 69 aces helping North Bullitt to a third straight 23rd District championship.
Kinlee McDowell
Kinlee McDowell
McDowell gave LaRue County another hitting option this past fall. McDowell does a good job finding ways around blockers. That includes hits to all six positions on the court and deceiving tips when necessary. McDowell also shows great form on her blocks helping the Hawks control the net. McDowell had 111 kills, 19 solo and 43 assisted blocks helping LaRue County to an 18th District Tournament runner-up finish and spot in the 5th Region Tournament.
