Upon watching her in person and on film, it appeared to me that her last two steps weren't getting her to the ball, causing her to hit off balance. All the other elements were there: her approach length, her back flight, her snap, but being off balance would throw all her efforts off. Throughout the season, she has figured it out. So much so, that I asked her mother who she had been working with on her approach. Her mother said the best thing; she worked it out on her own. This is great because Mia's success is something she can wholeheartedly own, not something she feels obligated to credit to a private trainer. It's excellent to use a trainer to identify issues, but when you figure it out on your own, it gives you undeniable confidence. u003c/spanu003eu003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eThe question is no longer whether she can get it done offensively, but rather, can the defense handle her serious offensive attempts? Mia delivers power, and, even more importantly, has found her footing to the ball. She consistently scores with a quick snap from both the front and back row, positioning herself as a serious contender for June 15th. Despite not being the early-season setter for the Vegas Aces, one would not have been able to discern that information from watching her play. She is exceptionally polished. When she is not setting, she is fully engaged at the net, consistently putting up block after block. Trinity demonstrates remarkable quickness and decisiveness on both offense and defense. She possesses a deep understanding of the game's nuances and adeptly navigates its complexities, making her an invaluable addition to any college roster in search of an intelligent setter. The first time I saw Charlotte play was at a high school playoff game. She showed glimpses of greatness on the right side, but this weekend, she owned that side of the net. She has fine-tuned the power in her swing and finds her way through the block effortlessly. The key to Charlotte's power is her utilization of her entire body, harnessing the power from her legs to amplify the momentum of her approach. She dominates at the net on both offense and defense and possesses the build of a true athlete. Any colleges in search of a hardworking athlete on the right side should consider Charlotte, who has put in some serious work this season.
