Wisconsin athletes had a big spring when it comes to making their commitment to the next level. Here are 15 athletes who made their verbal to head to the next level that will take them across the country.
On a personal note, the Prep Dig scouts and I love celebrating these commits. Our group chat is always busy this time of year sending the social media posts, staying up to date. From covering many of these athletes since they stepped on the high school courts, we follow their journey not only through high school, but we keep tabs on these athletes as they head to the next level. 17 Navy had a huge spring when it came to college commits where this team is going to be heading all over. Morgan Stewart Morgan Stewart 6'1" | OH Green Bay Southwest | 2025 State WI was one who committed in early April to De Paul, located in Chicago and part of the Big East. De Paul has Wisconsin native Meghan Scholz out of Tomahawk where she played club for Wisconsin Ice and FC Elite . Staying with the Big East is outside hitter Annika Kowalksi who will head to Marquette. She’s had a decorated career with state titles at Xavier and is also a very high academic student.
Isabella VanderVelden and Madison Tripp Madison Tripp 5'9" | S Kaukauna | 2025 State WI will be heading to Bemidji State, located in Bemidji, Minnesota where they are part of the Northern Sun Conference, one of the top D2 conferences in the country. The Beavers are coming off one of their best seasons as of late with wins over nationally ranked opponents in 2023.
Chloe Parker Chloe Parker 6'2" | MB Bay Port | 2025 State WI will be heading to Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois where former Neenah and Marquette standout, Hope Werch is currently an assistant coach. Parker has been on the rise out of the middle this past year and will be looking to lead her Bay Port squad to a big season with many key returners back for the Pirates.
Madison Daley Madison Daley 5'11" | RS Xavier | 2025 State WI ‘s commit to Rider University in New Jersey is fresh off the press. Daley has been a key part of the Xavier state title runs the past two seasons where she is a six rotation right side who can do a little bit of everything. She will join another FC Elite alum in Molly Rohde who finished a successful season with the Broncos.
Maddy Kreider Maddy Kreider 5'8" | S Kingsford | 2025 State MI is from the UP of Michigan (Kingsford, MI), but we’ll claim her in this article 😉 Going into this club season she was going to be a setter who would get a lot of D2 looks between the NSIC and GLIAC. She will be staying close to home and playing for Michigan Tech in Houghton which is always a threat to be in the top of their conference and an NCAA tournament team.

Hailey Goebel Hailey Goebel 6'0" | RS St. Thomas More | 2025 State WI – St. Thomas Moore – MKE Sting – Committed to Denver
Emma Koceja Emma Koceja 6'1" | OH Brookfield Central | 2025 State WI – Brookfield Central – MKE Sting – Committed to Iona
Madison Marx Madison Marx 5'7" | S Franklin | 2025 State WI – Franklin – MKE Sting – Committed to Troy
Madelyn Marquardt Madelyn Marquardt 5'8" | S Kewaskum | 2025 State WI – Kewaskum – MKE Sting – Committed to Mount Mercy
The Sting teams have been having a huge season across all of their 17s teams. It was only a matter of time before the commits would be starting to fall. Eva Finnessy Eva Finnessy 5'11" | OH Sussex-Hamilton | 2025 State WI will be going to Northern Illinois who has been building quite a program with regional talent under coach Sandra Parys. NIU will be adding Rylee Alvin who is part of the Sting Class of 2024. They have also picked up some of the top talent from their backyard of Northern Illinois and Chicagoland. Finnessy brings consistency at the pin as well as a rock solid passer as well. Hailey Goebel Hailey Goebel 6'0" | RS St. Thomas More | 2025 State WI will head to the mountains, giving her verbal to Denver University. She has shown her versatility throughout her career, showing she can play multiple positions at a high level. Emma Koceja Emma Koceja 6'1" | OH Brookfield Central | 2025 State WI will head out East to New Rochelle, New York to play for Iona. Iona is part of the MAAC, she will in the same conference as Madison Daley Madison Daley 5'11" | RS Xavier | 2025 State WI who is playing for Rider. Madison Marx Madison Marx 5'7" | S Franklin | 2025 State WI has been the uber steady setter for Sting 17 Gold where she can dish, defend, and is so dynamic. She will head to Troy University, located in Troy, Alabama. This program has built a pipeline to the Milwaukee area where they currently have two Wisconsin athletes on the roster in Maleah Howe (Oconomowoc) and Janelle Stuempfig (Sussex Hamilton) while 2024 grad Olivia Kwiatkowski Olivia Kwiatkowski 6'0" | OH Oconomowoc | 2024 State WI (Oconomowoc/MKE Sting) will be heading there for this upcoming season. Madelyn Marquardt Madelyn Marquardt 5'8" | S Kewaskum | 2025 State WI , a standout setter for Kewaskum and MKE Sting 17 Black will be heading to Mount Mercy located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mount Mercy is an NAIA school where they can give athletic scholarships. They compete in the Heart of America Conference finishing 22-7 overall, 15-4 in conference play.

Ella Haines Ella Haines 5'8" | OH Verona | 2025 State WI – Verona – Madtown Juniors – Committed to Western Illinois
Ellie Burns Ellie Burns 5'9" | S Hudson | 2025 State WI – Hudson – Northern Lights – Committed to Southeast Missouri State
The Ohio Valley Conference is a Division 1 conference with teams ranging from Missouri/Arkansas over to the Eastern part of Kentucky and Tennessee. Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri State have been at the top of the conference the past few seasons. Ellie Burns Ellie Burns 5'9" | S Hudson | 2025 State WI has been setting for the Northern Lights 17-1 team who has earned an open bid to Vegas. She does a little bit of everything for Northern Lights and her high school team, Hudson. She will have a chance to compete for an NCAA tournament type team right away. Two Madtown Junior athletes will head to the OVC as well. Greta Shadewald Greta Shadewald 5'11" | S Sauk Prairie | 2025 State WI is a lefty setter who can also swing on the right side. She will go to Lindenwood in the St. Louis area where they area few years fresh into D1 after being D2 prior to 2022. Western Illinois, where Ella Haines Ella Haines 5'8" | OH Verona | 2025 State WI is heading is a new member of the OVC where they were previously part of the Summit League. The travel for Western Illinois is significantly shorter in the OVC. Haines is a outside/ds combo type player who will bring plenty of athleticism and versatility to the Leathernecks.
