Isabelle Brown Isabelle Brown 5'9" | S Avon | 2025 State #101 Nation IN , 5-9, Avon, Circle City
Willing to go through a wall to get to any passed ball, Miss Brown is a high-motor setter that always finds a way to make any pass more hittable for her hitters. She also defends her position well, making her one of a handful of setters that can do so at an elite level in this class. On the radar for multiple mid-majors for the better part of a year, Isabelle is still available for the fall of ’25.
Kyla Coolman Kyla Coolman 5'10" | S Penn | 2025 State IN , 5-10, Penn, NIVA
As soon as she arrived to our Showcase last year, she was the immediate front-runner in the setting position. Instantly running the offense regardless of who was hitting, Kyla is more than capable of doing so at the next level, and with a high level of athleticism to go with that leadership.
Kaitlyn Kuckkan Kaitlyn Kuckkan 5'7" | S Lafayette Central Catholic | 2025 State IN , 5-7, Lafayette Central Catholic, Rev
Traveling over an hour one way to club practice is rare here in Indiana. There are so many clubs locally and regionally in Indiana that they’re easy to find and train with. Kaitlyn, on the other hand, has the dedication and work ethic to be the 5-1 setter for Rev’s 17-1s this season. Her hands are quick and deceptive, she has fast feet that get her to a ton of errant balls, and she even has Division I blood in her (older sister was on the roster at Valparaiso).
Aysa Thomas Aysa Thomas 5'10" | S Brownsburg | 2025 State IN , 5-10, Brownsburg, Academy
A rising star from west of Indianapolis, Aysa is another with bloodlines in Division I volleyball (older sister is on the roster at Xavier). Probably the most athletic of the bunch listed in this article, Aysa is a strong and athletic setter that can run a 5-1 at the open level right now. That translates well to collegiate setting, as she would be an excellent plug-and-play option for a mid-major in the fall of ’25. Serious about her craft and highly coachable, Aysa has that “it” factor when it comes to competitiveness and winning.
Briana DeJesus Briana DeJesus 5'6" | S Crown Point | 2025 State IN , 5-6, Crown Point, Epic
From way up north in “the region”, Briana is an undersized and overachieving setter that can be part of a 6-2 at any four-year institution that’s looking for one. Her work ethic, combined with her athleticism, makes her better in some skills compared to other setters in this class, including the setters listed above. A defensive-minded setter, you’ll find that her first contacts to a libero are just as accurate as her second contacts are to her hitters. Reliable, athletic and smart, you could do a lot worse than Briana if you’re looking for a setter.
